Eyebrow threading.

Well that's a new one on me. There is a salon opening up in a strip mall a few blocks away that has a big sign in the window "Eyebrow Threading $7". I've never heard of that but a quick look on Youtube revealed it's a way of shaping eyebrows and removing unwanted hair around the eyes such as a uni-brow.
My wife is going to give it a try when they open and I might have a go myself. She hates plucking and waxing---hell who doesn't.

But it's still plucking, only with sewing thread instead of tweezers.

I have mine waxed periodically with a "sugar" wax. I trust another person to do it more than I trust me, though I have been known to resort to the tweezer between sessions. Since I have astigmatism and see the world slanted ever so slightly even with correction in my glasses, it is far better for another to make them even.

Yeah but she's not doing it

I guess she thinks it's not as painful if someone else is doing.

I had threading done. Maybe if the person had done a better job I'd have been more impressed. It's still somewhat painful, but it does quite a bit in a short amount of time.

Seems to me that the probability of the thread grabbing several hairs at once, and a slow pluck as compared to waxing, would make it painful at time. Like pulling a band-aid off slowly.
