need a holiday outfit quick

Post by Ralitsa »

This will sound strange, but stick with me. Tomorrow night there is a bikini contest at Hooters (no, I'm not entering). But my "favorite Hooters Girl" will be taking care of me there, and I want to wear something nice. All I have with me right now is a couple of casual skirts and sweaters, nothing particularily nice, so I need to get a new outfit. I'm thinking about maybe a dark green dress, or possibly black skirt with a red top, I don't know. I need some ideas.

When ideas fail I agree wholeheartedly with Carol, You cannot go too far wrong with an LBD.

an LBD would have been perfect =P~
So what I ended up doing was, I went to a consignment shop where I've found some really nice stuff before, just to see what they had. I found a nice black skirt with red floral pattern stiched on, and a green sweater, and red strappy heels that matched the stitching in the skirt and also my purse. So I was feeling quite lucky, and all for $20. Then I got my nails done in a green to match my sweater.
It turned out really well.

I know this is way late but can help for another time or help another girl.

You don't need another outfit, you can accessorize. You can do earrings, a broach, a holiday print scarf. Options are open. Heck, if you are wearing boots, look for socks that peek out the top with a holiday print.

You just have to show you got spirit :) The better half is wearing little angels tonight. I will wear tiny jingle bell earrings maybe tomorrow but certainly one of the nights I'm out this go around.

I should have provided more information.
I was in PA, and only had a few things with me, 2 skirts, 3 tops, and 2 dresses, and I had been wearing those for the last couple weeks.
I have about 4 LBDs (none of which I have ever actually worn to an occasion) and none of those were with me. Had I acccess to my full wardrobe, I could have found some things, I have a really nice Christmas skirt that I am looking for an occasion to wear, but alas, it was not the case.
But I'm not complaining, you see, if I can only carry a few things in my suitcase, then that means I will probably have to buy some new outfits sometime along the way.
