If you haven't got a summer white anything but panties and bras, then I would have to agree. White is a staple like black.

Only white dress I have is a short cute sun dress paired with a pair of white (flats) sandles. Only one pair of white heels for summer.

I have several white skirts, and white blouses.

Time to come clean, one of Paula's first purchases was a pair of white linen trousers, I also have a couple of white tops, and a white blazer type jacket, along with a couple of pairs of white shoes. Today I succumbed to temptation and bought a long white tiered floaty sort of skirt and a white leather hand bag, now I canlt wait for the sun, and the chances to wear them all.

As contrarian as I am I like to wear white in the winter to pay homage to the snow.

More fun to wear a red slip with a white skirt
And you can wear white in winter as long as it's winter white and not summer white.

With white supposedly representing 'purity & wholesomeness' as my grandmother would say, I'd feel like a gigantic hypocrite wearing a white dress...lol
