Do you have times when you feel the need for new drssses/tops?
I do!
Today I decided to go online (M&S, BHS, Matalan & Debenhams) & I bought for delivery to store a lime top & a pink top.
I am looking forward to wearing them

My closet is too full already ;)

But there are times, when out shopping with my wife, that I'll see something I just have to have. Sometimes I ignore the feeling, and later regret it.

My 2 tops came today and look nice on me. I am looking forward to wearing them, perhaps later

Other fashion news is that my wife agreed to order for me 2 pairs of femme trousers, blue & black from Damart (Size 20). I explained to her that I am much more conmfrtable in female attire and she seemed to understand so I hope to wear more often now

My last shopping was for some tops for the very hot and humid weather we're having this year. Some of the things I have needed layering and that just won't do for the heat we have now.

Its been very hot in the UK today, ideal opportunity to wear light weight summer frocks, with just the essential undies, much more comfortable than guy gear

I have too many (well more than I need) summery tops through frequenting charity shops (I mean it's just so cheap and then you're tempted). But I did recently buy a nice cream skirt from T-Max. V. light, worked fine tonight which was, as Paula said, hot in the UK.

In fact kind of meltsville. The makeup did stay on more or less alright. But when it came to removing it, it just practically flowed off onto the cotton wool. I was actually happiest in my underwear and a slip. You do definitely notice how much a wig heats you up in this kind of weather.

Don't we all.
And sometimes I just have to say no. I just dont have room for more things.
When I see things I want or when the season changes I have to ask myself
when/where would I wear it. Even though I get out fairly regular I still dont get to wear things I have already purchased. Some things are not appropriate for every day, and not being able to dress full time I just don't wear some things. I need to thin my closet out.

I don't mind not being able to wear the stuff, necessarily. It's if I'm repeating myself, that's what bothers me. I mean I quite like having a rich collection of clothes - like for my imagination to play unconsciously around with - Just having all those potential things you can do is a good feeling. The trouble is when it starts to feel redundant, buying the clothes - as it does for me now.

So I'm not at the point of wanting to throw things out (a problem for me anyway), but I also can't forsee myself wanting to really add to it much either. I think you do have to know when to stop. Otherwise it's good money after bad.

I thought I knew when to stop, but then I went in to check out a small thrift store. They were having a summer sale, $1 for all sleeveless tops. Then I found a few cute summer dresses that I just had to have, and there were a few skirts that fit me nicely. So I gave up on the idea of knowing when to stop, and just stopped when there was nothing left that I liked and that fit.
This whole "just say no" thing is sooooo overrated.
