Where can you wear it in UK?

I have two single piece costumes and six bikini sets , well you can't be seen wearing the same costume twice now can you. As for where to wear it ? . If you have the nerve , anywhere. I don't have the nerve . But I did rent a cottage near lemmington spa once that had it's own private swimming pool , that was the first time I wore a bikini. Now as I live on the coast I am just as happy to go night swimming at one of the many local hidden beaches.

I would imagine (doesn't take much imagination!) if you wear a swimsuit, one-piece or bikini set, its difficult to hide your attributes! How do you go on Melinda?

I just tuck, Anna doesn't really hide much , but most of the time I am alone on the beach anyway. And with a healthy set of moobs and a skimpy bikini top it usually draws attention elsewhere.

oh yes the art of tucking and for me it helps to be fairly small down there!

I don't have any problem with the lower fitting. The costime fits perfectly in that area and is quite protective. No tucking required

I have just recently gotten a tankini from avenue. It has a swim skirt so a tuck is good enough. I haven't worn it in public, but i could. The only problem is that it's fairly low cut and I would have trouble hiding the fake girls. I've snuck out into the yard for a bit of time to work on my tan, but just cannot get enough time out safely since I have a retired neighbor always home.

I only wear the one piece, I don't look good enough to wear a 2 piece. Although I have seen some 2 piece suits I like that have a top which covers most of the belly, and I would get one if the bottom has a skirt. I prefer the ones with skirts, since it helps cover everything. I have several of them and wear them pretty much anywhere, don't worry about trying to not be seen. I figure that even if everyone knows that I'm a guy wearing a ladies swim suit, at least it looks better than if I were wearing a speedo with a beer belly

I have six one-piece swimsuits and two tankinis...only a few more weeks to wear them...

I was about to start a topic on pools/the beach and swimming costumes but searching brought me to here .. great minds think alike!

I have worn bikini bottoms around a private pool. That was lovely. I definitely couldn't wear a woman's costume in public, but I'd love to have the nerve.

Has anyone ever goneto the beach in a bikini? Is it possible? Maybe easier without forms for a naturally small frame? One would need to be sure to be immacuately shaved and buffed in all the right places.

An all in one swimsuit would be easier but still galling to think about it!

I would love that bikini tan line though.

We need to set a fashion and make it so all can wear 1 piece swimsuits. They are comfortable!

I've run through several through the years, including the classic yellow polka-dot bikini. I currently use 2 one pieces mostly. One is a Catalina turquoise blue 1950's fitted that once belonged to my mother and the other is a 1980's Jantzen swirl print faux wrap lycra/spandex that I inherited from my sister. Both have some boning and bodice support, the older one has a zip and hook back. I've done a little adjustment on both, they fit well and look flattering, the cuts are classics. I've worn them to beaches and pool parties where I wouldn't have any difficulties and have gotten some compliments.

I don't wear bikinis in public, I can always find other ways to embarrass myself

Without being big-headed I am sure I would get compliments if I did & people would like my idea
