Anyone have any long floral skirts in their wardrobe, I dont. I tend to prefer showing something that shows off my legs, but I think I would like the feel of a long skirt once in a while.

Hio Belinda. Long skirts and dresses do feel nice, but like you, I prefer to show some leg, usually knees downwards

I do have a few floral pattern skirts, but with it being so sunny in the northeast USA I'm enjoying showing off my long, tanned legs...The floral patterns are nice tho, but maybe as fall creeps in....

I have one that's floral, a couple that are white, a black velvet one, and a brown one, and I like how they each feel over shaved legs and over nylons.
They also help ease the mind such that you don't have to worry about exposing too much when seated.

I don't have any long floral skirts, but I have many long skirts and really like the look. Generally I go for plain styles, with accents from frilly stuff etc. But I do have a nice long floral patterned dress in orange and red (from Primark) which is lined and lovely summer wear (and thanks for reminding me about it).

I'm not going to say what all I have, but to say I did have some longer skirts. The nice thing about the longer skirts is they are like wearing pants with no worries about sitting and showing the unmentionables. The other advantage of a longer skirt is simply warmer in the winter. The longer summer maxi dresses and the longer skirts have the sitting advantage but are light and airy adding the problem of sheerness. Too many require slips that girls don't realize and merrily walk about with all to see what all there is to see.

I have mostly long skirts but mostly in denim or plain colors. I have a couple of print ones but not what I would consider a floral. I like some of the floral skirts but never sure what to wear with them so do not get them.

Oh yes, I have one I found in a goodwill store maybe 12 years ago. What I really like about this which is my favorit
is the fact I can wear a can can pettie under it like the girls in school would wear when I was in high school

.
And I agree with Donna the feel of a pettie on stockings as you walk along is something I could not begin to discribe

, now combine that with a tight fitting sweather and heels, I am a teenager in heaven
waiting for my date to arrive.

Nice Carol Ann
I have pictures on my web site with me wearing a western petti under a long skirt for winter warmth. It's one of my favorite outfits of the cold.

As a mature lady I have found the longer skirts a godsend, not all ofus can pull off the short skirt look. I have several longer fuller skirts and wear them all the time. I do have to agree with Davita that some of the GG's out there should take a long look at themselves when they wear those sheer gauzy skirts. I saw one woman in the grocery store with a cute pink maxi skirt on, the problem is when she bent down to pick up something from a lower shelf I also got a good look at her red panties!

I don't have any long skirts, but quite a few of my dresses are quite long. as a general principle I feel dresses look better on me than skirt and top, but a longer length can be very nice, especially in summer. On colder days then I rather like a shorter skirt with tights and boots.

Belinda, I tend to prefer dresses to skirts and like you I prefer to show off my legs. Recently however, I was due to go out to a support group meeting. I had an outfit planned, but when I got home from work it was so hot, I found that hardly wanted to wear anything! Welcome to the maxi dress! It was a godsend! Despite being covered up, it left my legs free to the elements and was just perfect! Hot weather causes all sorts of problems with us cders (foundation, wigs, shapewear, - the list goes on!).
A summery Maxi dress is just the business on a hot day! Trust me!

I agree Ginny, hot weather makes a nice cool dress imperative. I don't really like the maxi-dress look too much myself, I prefer just a nice sundress, or even a short skirt and sleveless top.
I do have a few long floral skirts, they are nice for spring. In summer I like something shorter. And in fall I like more of the autumn prints and woolen plaids. And of course winter in Wisconsin necessitates a long wool skirt with sweater tights and high boots, and nice sweater, scarf and cap.
