Skinny Jeans
I was at the Salvation Army to drop a few things off this afternoon so I figured whyno nose around. I found a pair of skinny jeans and had to have them. Neve wore tanything like this since the old designer jans of the 70's, they are great! Anyone else like skinny jeans?

Re: Skinny Jeans
Wally world in my area has them on sale this weekend in colors, seeing as how I promised the wife lunch at the new Mexican joint down in town where Carols goes out I will stop and look at them then over to Home Depot.
But I do have one other pair of skinny jeans with all the fancy stitching.

I have one pair of DG2 Jeans with Brass Diamond Shaped studs at ankles. Great Jeans. Over the top for anywhere but home is all. Can't really tell that much difference between skinny and normal leg. I prefer Bootcut Jeans.

Re: Skinny Jeans
Last week or was it the week before???? I was in my local Torrid. They had a scratch off coupon if you tried on their jeans; so I did. They know me so I was trying them on DRAB. I was actually looking for some jeans to wear to work so they couldn't be super fem. I like the fit of my Avenue jeans, but I can't wear my skinny jeans since they are too obvious. Silly me asked to try on skinny jeans since they were fairly plain looking. Well I'm telling you, they had a nicer stretch fabric than Avenue's and I really liked them -- and I could have them in talls. However, they were truly skinny to the point of almost being leggings. They looked good on this old body. Okay, couldn't do them for w**k so they convinced me to try the boot leg version, but down a size because they ran a smidgen looser. These girls knew their jeans. Fit great from the low rise waist to the knees then flared like bell bottoms. Oh no... bad look for me and I didn't like that fit below the knee anyway. So I have a few pairs of skinny jeans one with slits at the ankles so you can actually get your feet out the bottom.
I mentioned low rise waist. Girls since we don't have hips... okay, I don't have hips... low rise will be a better fit at our boy waists. The reason is that women's pants in general have a higher rise to account for their hips to use the extra material to get over the curves to end at their natural waists. Since we don't tend to have the hips, that extra material just goes straight up ending above our waists. Knowing this, I try to find any of my girl pants to have waists below the natural (girl) waist or be a true low rise that still fits above the girl hips. If you get the really low rise that just barely reaches a girl's hips, you're going be worried about everything going on at your waist -- panties, plumber's c**k, tummies.... all that going on if you're not prepared for it will distract you from enjoying the jeans and other pants.
Hey Steve, DG2.... HSN or QVC?

Re: Skinny Jeans
DG2 are sold at HSN (Home Shopping Network). I have more Lane Bryant Jeans. But some of them are getting old.
If you want some really nice ones looks for Tummy Tucker Jeans. Not Your Daughter's Jeans (NYDJ). I used to have 2 pair but gave them away to someone who lost everything (Apt Fire). Nordstrom has them in store. It was fun to try them on in the store (Women's Dept). I went early.
Oh program your DVR or Machine to record the HSN show. That's fun to watch. HSN also has a Forum. Couple Ladies are saying DG should make jeans for Men too. Of course I joined in. I guess some know I wear Women's Jeans. But hey I just don't care.
Nice stuff is "Susan Graver" at QVC. I have couple of her tops. Liquid Knit and Butter Knit. Tshirts and I wear them in Winter with Jacket or at home. Wish Men's were that nice. We got old Rough and Ready to storm the Mtn stuff.
Oh well lucky for me I don't work.
