My Favorite Type of Dresses

Post by ArleneMcCarthy »

I love to wear silver dresses, with a slit down the side. Tight fitting and I'm ready to go. With,of course my cat's eyes eyewear.

I find that nearly all my dresses are black or dark grey, I have an excuse for the black as they are for concert wear as well, but I find it difficult to break out of a few quite limiting styles and colours. I a looking forward to summer (if we get one this year) so I can wear some of my more colourful lighter weight dresses.

I think I have one dress. Everything else are skirts.

My body shape doesn't lend itself well to dresses.

In my teenage days, I would try some of my mom's dresses, and with her being 7 inches shorter than me, the dresses fit me well.

I only have 5 dresses but 20 or so skirts which I prefer. There is so much more you can do with a skirt and top, mix and match, colors etc. Beside in a skirt and a thigh belt I get a nice figure *-*

I love dresses, I find them even more feminine than a skirt. There is nothing classier then a lady in a dress and heels in my opinion. Besides it means I get to wear a full slip under it, very sexy to me.

My current favorite dress is a bright blue one with a semi straight skirt, long sleeves, and black on the shoulders and a black striped running down the sides. It is a very slimming look and I feel oh so feminine when i wear it. Sadly about the only place I get to wear it is to church. :(

Like Carol Ann, I'm all about skirts and their versatility...so many combinations can be made with various tops and shoes, not to mention wearing nylons in different shades. In guy mode one pair of jeans is enough, in drag mode it is so much fun putting different outfits together!

My favorite dress is any one that doesn't make me look prego. Oddly, a straight sheath looks good on me even though it doesn't create a fem shape; in contrast, it hides the flaws for now.

oooohhhh this is hard..... to say whether I like skirts or dresses more....
I love the versatility and comfort of skirts.
I love the convenience of dresses.
Skirts are easy to wear, help keep the nylons from rolling and are very chic.
Dresses are so classy and sophisticated.
Both can look great with heels.

I refuse to choose. I love them both
I have probably about 20 of each, and I need MORE!!
It really depends on the situation, sometimes a casual summer dress is just the thing (but not today in Montana), a sweater dress is perfect for today. But I love a plaid wool skirt with a cute sweater when it's cold and snowy. And I have some jean skirts that are great for just hanging out, but a snug pencil skirt with satin blouse is better for those more formal events. Dresses are just so easy to put on and have the whole outfit together, not worrying if all the pieces go together.

All I can say is my favorite outfit is the one that matches the particular occasion and makes me look good.

My newest perscription eyewear is frm ZenniOpitical, 2 pairs, both cat'e eyes, one orange, the other tortoiseshell. Yesterday I received from HSN 8 pairs of female readers, they were on sale. I like them put the strength was not high enuf for moi, I need at least 3.5 power, I guess.

I'm just starting out - just have three black dresses and one white dress, and no skirts! I must get some!

I just bought a silky black dress with sleeves last weekend as part of my transformation experience at store for CD/TGers in Massachusetts, and the owner thought I looked stunning and "hit a home run" with the outfit. As soon as I can I will get a picture and post it in my album.

i still have a bit of a belly i'm working on, so prefer a tight skirt with a loose top. maybe when dresses dont make me look fat i'll start wearing them.
