I love makeup and have been putting off having an avatar but I finally got the nerve to let you know what I looked like with my face made up. I sometimes go beond this with extreme eye makeup but for an avatar I thought I would be better off with what I do when I am doing the grocery shopping. Tell me. Do I look 85?

This has been a while coming because it has been so hot here that makeup simply melts and if you can't wear it for very long why bother?

The camera doesn't pick up my eyelashes very well. Mine are about 3/4 inches long and I have lots of mascara on in this picture. I guess I will have to get some fulse ones for picture taking.

Lighting makes a lot of difference to how you appear on camera. To me it seems like flash bleaches out the colours I see in a mirror and I could never get a decent photo. I found that buying some cheap small table lamps I could direct more light at my face during the makeup process - and I had to apply more prominent colours to counteract that.

But, when it came to taking photos, I was now (sometimes) able to get a decent picture

Flash might also make your eyelashes less prominent for a similar reason, so maybe you could try the same sort of trick.

85??!!! *pout* I'm only 60 and I think I look like the 85 year old. You did gooooooddddd, GF. Are you gonna let us all drop by for lessons?

Thank you for your compliments. I don't feel 85 so why should I look 85? I will try not using my flash and see if my lashes show up. Professionals seem to get this feature every time I get a male photo taken. Darn, I really envy that guy! LOL
