Tip for proper skirt wear

We all know, or should know that women wear their skirts about 3" above the navel on the lower part of their midriff so that the skirt falls over the great reversed pear shape of their hips. When worn properly I find my skirts feel and fall better and tend to hold in the slight guy bulge of my stomach when the belt is at the lower midriff, this also ensures greater comfort because there is more freedom when moving our legs, or sitting. That's it.
I say this because cross dressers starting out tend to wear a skirt at the same level as a gunslinger's belt on gunsmoke which is just not done.
I crossed a major milepost on my way to my ideal weight of 178 this morning when to my surprise I was 189.5 pounds I am 5'9.5" with a medium frame, I have lost 30 pounds since October 1st. It is amazing how good a dress looks when you haven't worn it in a while and find you need to retie the waist sash and see a figure to your amazement. There is an upper torso that looks feminine too with the bra and the wide open V neck and collar of this denim shirt dress and how wonderful to do a simple and neat woman's hairstyle by parting it down the middle and sweeping it back on both sides. I have straight hair but it does have body and is amazingly attractive after skipping the barber for just a few months. I am having such a good time this morning! I'm loving it but alas the spell will be broken soon as I change to go work on my sports car and I do not push my feminine self out there in front of my older son who knows and thinks it's fine - perhaps but I still prefer to present as dad.
