Push-Up and padded bras for us

I thought about adding this subject under "breast envy" but it's really quite different.

I have a pocket bra with a B cup and wear it around the house and it does feel very good. But when I go out (cruise ship only) I am only part dressed (neck down) and wear a small bra with padding as my wife insists that I not be too open and easily recognized as "dressed". I believe I want to try wearing a push-up bra, probably with just a little padding also to enhance my chest just a little and still be within my wife's guidelines and her approval. I have a 40" chest. Can anyone give me some ideas where I might be able to purchase a 40A bra with push-ups & padding. I believe I have enough fat in my chest to allow some push-up. Any helpful comments & suggestions appreciated.

I have found it almost impossible to find any bras that are 40A or 40AA that I could work with or modify to fit my needs. My wife did resew a bra to reduce the cup size and that works well. Guess I may have to get her to do that again.

Thank you!

Looking at http://www.herroom.com/40a,bras,40a,001,14.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
there appears to be only one that is a pushup. Quite expensive though.

Try http://www.biggerbras.com/catalog-bra-s ... -40a.shtml" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ?

However, you might try a 38B instead, seems to be more options available, even at JCPenney.

Thank you very much. I should be able to use the 38 B and bra extenders if necessary. Thanks for the links.

Thanks you again Donna. Using the links provided I was able to find some 38A pushup bras that I really like and at a reasonable price. I remeasured and since I've lost weight I'm 38" around the chest. Now I must decide on the style as I've picked out a few to consider. This will be a Christmas present to myself!

For some of the less endowed women, there is 'Chic Shaper' found at most local stores like Walgreen's around here. About $20, it pushes what you have up and toward the center. It's not a bra, just a tissue pusher.

Thank you Eileen for your helpful reply. I researched on the internet and found more info at <http://www.asseenontvguys.com/chic-shaper.aspx>. I ended up buying one in my size and color at Amazon for $12. It seems that the shaper pushes in your "tissue" as you call it, from the side and I can see that this type action plus a push-up bra will greatly help my appearance. It does seem that it could possibly be a little confining but the "look" should be well worth it. Do you know anyone that uses the chic shaper and can describe the comfort from experience? Thank you again and your reply and help is deeply appreciated.

Glad to be of help, Dianna. My Cd husband bought one maybe two years ago or so. You'll notice the shaper is targeted toward GGs and claims to improve posture along with enhancing cleavage. The fit is a bit more constraining than a bra, but does produce some cleavage. Turns out that my guy does not have much natural tissue to work with, so the results were realistic, but less than amazing. He prefers larger breast forms anyway, so it doesn't enhance enough for a low cut blouse. It should work well for those sporting a smaller bust than DD. He did claim it was comfortable enough to wear all evening with a spare pair of smaller forms.
He's spent far more on clothing that doesn't fit right, $12 is worth the try. Besides, it's got to more comfortable than tape!

Eileen or others, how would one use tape to increase cleavage?

You Tube is full of videos, search 'How to create cleavage'. They mostly feature drag queens, but you'll get the idea. Beauty pageant women have long used the same technique, too a lesser degree.
Seeing these tutorials, I can't imagine it's very comfy for all evening wear.

To my GG sisters, wearing a bra with a smaller cup size works wonders. Just don't sneeze!
