First Eye Liner!

Post by Baylee »

So today, I decided to buy my first eye liner, incredibly excited to use it. Was hoping anyone would have some good ideas on where I should start since this will be my first time using it!

Do an on line search for "how to put on eye liner" and you will get a lot of videos and step by step tutorials. Other than that practice and have fun.

I've never used it, and instead usually use a dark eye shadow as liner.

As Kim said, Internet searches and YouTube will produce tons of instructions. Might I remind everyone that the manufacturers also provide instructions as they want their product used right so you like the results and buy more.

Now, I was curious to know if you got powder, pencil or liquid? I'm a powder girl. I didnt like the pencil always seeming to be dull when I wanted to use it and the liquid, I just never mastered. Powder gives me a softer line and for me, I prefer it after all.

Start with the eyes, dear! Just kidding, last minute shopping has my nerves jangled. Proper lighting and a comfortable place to sit will help you practice. You're going to mess up plenty, just don't get discouraged. The YouTube people have been good at application for a long time. The hardest part is making both eyes match.
