Hairstyle/Wig Question...

Post by Brianna »

Hi!

Well, here I am on my journey to find my feminine side. Like many of you I am sure, I have encountered the question of what I should do about my hair. Currently I have long auburn hair with some strawberry blond and gray highlights. Altogether I am very pleased with my own hair. Unfortunately, it would look a little peculiar at work if I showed up with a more feminine hairstyle. I think in many ways I'm already pushing the limit in this area because I shaved off my facial hair.

Eventually I plan to donate my hair so I will be confronted with the wig issue sooner or later.

Today I went to the local shop that caters to Crossdressers to try on wigs. I tried on three wigs and two of them matched my hair pretty well. The challenge is deciding what hairstyle is right for me. Are there any rules about what kind of hairstyles look good on certain face shapes?

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Brianna

Brianna,
Paula Young has a website - they sell wigs and they have information on what style goes with face shapes. They also have an 800 number to call and they are very helpful, too.
Of course you can simply type in wigs on the net and have plenty to follow up on.

Brianna,

As long as you have your hair hang onto it, a wig is something like warm hat. Too hot to wear it especially in the warm weather.
