Okay -- no right answer here. Just a bit of an opinion thingie without a poll.
Back about 14 years ago, I bought these at Silk and Satin, lingerie store with NO men's items at all, in Vancouver

I supply some commentary after some responses

Simply, "no" I find them ugly and I'm not sure of the fit. I could care less what they are made of. I can find pretty and comfy without those.

Honest? Those are men's briefs without a doubt.

Oh yes they do have men's items.
I prefer cotton panties anyway.

Back in 2000 when I bought them, they carried no men's items at all, and these where on a female mannequin

Well -- here 's a funny note about them -- back in 2000, 5years before I met my wife, I was in Vancouver. I went to Silk and Satin to buy some goodies for me. It was then that I saw them.
Practical girl that I am, yet also timid bunny, I saw the benefits. Need to go the doctor -- wear these -- after all they are for girls and I am a girl.
Not to mention my penchant for mixing up the genders and girls in guys stuff ... but that's another story.
So, I tell the clerk that I want to get them for my girlfriend, who of course existed solely in my dreams, because she is such a tomboy. The banter of course was that she would so cute in them etc etc.
So, I buy like 5 pair. Some of which I wear, and the rest I stash away in my hope chest. Years later . I meet my wife, who is from the greater Vancouver area, and well -- the rest is crossdressing romantic history....
We like to imagine that we passed each other the street that day and gave a knowing glance in each other's direction, but that is of course not true. In a fun sense though, me telling teh clerk that they were for my girlfriend was ..albeit timing being no quite right

They look like tighty whities to me. I gave up on them long ago as they did nothing but rub me the wrong way and not pleasant wearing them when they rub some things.

Not in girl mode, no.
And probably not to the Dr's office, since they have "Silk & Satin" written on them.

This is an amusing thread… NO, NO, I would never wear “Whitey Tighties” whether they're made for a male or a female.
I usually go commando as a boy, and black lace thongs are my favorite when I’m dressed

Ugh, I absolutely despise thongs, especially the female version on guys because they look absolutely ridiculous . . . when your 'parts' are hanging out the sides the thongs not 'covering' anything and it's all I can do not to roll my eyes or bust out laughing.
Another long-time CD/TG member said it best: "Thongs are nothing more than a rubberband and twine and totally useless." I agree, but YMMV.

LOL, yes getting the right fit is key and having a nice shapely rear is necessary as well. An avid mountain biker and surfer helps keep the lower end shapely :-)

Why would these be on a female mannequin? They have the access flap for the guy parts. I don't care what materiel they are made of, these are men's underwear.
The husband has some sexy satin undies that don't have that flap, but they are guy's undies nonetheless as there is a cotton panel inside where a man would need it, not down lower for a woman.
Even way back when I had a nice derriere, there is no way I would wear butt floss thongs. They are the most unsanitary thing a person could wear.

. . . and the most uncomfortable thing to wear, as well!
Eileen, hon, you and I must meet IRL - - we think way too much alike . . . are you sure we're not twin sisters separated at birth?

SL, I've checked with Mom, there is only one of me. Husband breathed a sigh of relief.
Isn't it funny that a young lady will wear pretty panties in the hope that someone will see them. Later in life we GG's wear boring panties and hope no one sees them. The husband is not a big fan of frills or satin, his cotton panties hold the boys in place and still are fun to wear because they're women's undies. In that respect, the panties posted are not feminine at all.
We can swap some clothing, thank goodness he has a different panty size.
