You're responses made me laugh. I haven't had a bath in years either, but it does sound nice (if I could get my SO to join me).

Oh I LOVE bubble baths -- especially ones with flowery scents! After a difficult day -- its Calgon Take Me Away! (some of you older kiddies might remember that commercial!)

Well we have a garden tub with two sides offering magnificent views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. A lot of Calgon and lavender bubble bath and well, its .................. its what mountain girls enjoy!!!!!
Try it -- you'll like it!

PS: OH, we understand that Carol Ann has this beautiful crystal clear mountain stream that she uses and other than an occasional curious trout it is invigorating! ............... Well, its what I heard!

I've never bathed with a trout, but, a long soak is very relaxing! First, eliminate all types of interruptions, lock the doors, turn off phones, and wait till the kids are grown and moved away. Some nice music, a bottle of wine, and scented bath oils.
Exquisite!
I haven't bathed with bubbles since a child with Mr. Bubble. Bubble baths are a useful tool to show a naked lady on screen covered only by bubbles. Tastefully sexy and suggestive. Can't recall the movie right off, maybe more than one, but scenes of Doris Day enjoying her bath being interrupted by Cary Grant pop to mind.

Well now let me tell you that a nice dip in that there creek will take the wrinkles out of you in a heart beat, fish don't seem to mine

What, Carol Ann? No Ceement Pond? A skinny dip in the crick, I'd be more concerned about crawdads than fish anyway.
It's supposed to snow heavy in our area tomorrow. A nice hot soak will be a good way to end the day.
There's some kind of special football game on also.

I have just recently started to understand the pleasure of a nice bubble bath. I light some candles, open a bottle of wine and soak and enjoy. I got the idea from my one GG friend who told me that is where she would read Sahdes of Grey. Have to get it and see what it is all about.

I like a nice long hot shower. But GF likes a long soak in the tub with bubbles some times.

Heather,
I understand that 'Shades of Grey' is like the modern version of 'The Story of 'O''. I read that one decades ago. Relaxing nekkid in a tub is a good way to read either of those books. (There seems to be no 'wink' smiley icon?)
The challenge during winter months is keeping the water warm enough to really relax.

Actually, we have two:

and
The first one is
; ) and the second is
: wink :
. . . and to make both they are done without the spaces between the characters.

Thank you, SL. Sometimes I'm impatient and don't always see the obvious.
We had a huge amount of heavy, wet snow on Super Bowl Sunday. He did the heavy work, clearing 4 driveways, ours and neighbors, I did the doorways, steps and edges. Our tub is not large enough to accommodate two adults. Bubbles were not involved, unless you count the natural carbonation of beer, plenty of that!
