I have no idea what or where to look for all I know is I want an underbust corset that isn't novelty but actually reduces waist. I've Google and youtube it but there is so much out there I really don't know what to get lol.

Any pointers or recommended sites or nation wide stores that could be of help??

Thanks :)

I'm in the UK so I'm not sure how much this is going to help. But I bought an under-bust corset from Doreen's Fashions - a local CD etc. shop:

Anyway it might give you some idea. I've been to this shop a couple of times and think it's reliable.

Myranda,
Are you looking for a waist training corset to achieve a nearly impossible wasp shape figure, or a waist cincher to reduce the gut flab?
Most corset shops are accepting of male clientele for a proper fitting. On line orders may not give you the best fit.

Cinchers cost less and are more available. Any women's wear catalog will have a shape wear selection. The choice depends on how much reduction you hope to achieve. My husband has a cincher from Rago, but rarely wears it. He went for comfort first and decided to present as a slightly over weight lady, just like his wife. :)

So about that ultra short response, my phone had like 2%battery and wanted to respond before it died lol.

Anthony simon the site seems pretty awesome I'll more than likely be contacting them :)

Eileen, not brag or anything but I have no gut, some minor flab. Maybe an inch deep over abs but no gut. However I have a very T shape, and I'd like for me to have at least a little hour glass shape. So I've been undecided if I want a hip and butt pad combo from this site I found, the combo is called Veronica 5. Or if I want a corset. I love both ideas and I think both would be really pleasing to have but I'm not sure which I want so I'm kinda gathering information then deciding :)

You can check out my gallery if you'd like :) Thanks for wverything

Other than a proper bra, I do not wear shape wear. I'll pass on information from what my hubby and girlfriends have discussed.
Some love the feel and waist control of a corset, usually the under bust type as they have no natural boobies. For cost and comfort, most wear a cincher. Since most men have wider shoulders, some padding on the butt and hips helps things look more proportional. Some of the ladies look so nice except for that skinny little male butt.
Padding adds another layer to deal with, warm weather, slippage, and potty breaks. Husband knows the Veronica styles by Classic Curves, he has just the bottom padding and it looks pretty good.

Something else to consider in your decision is what style of clothing you like to wear. Form fitting or looser fit, and your age. For controlling just an inch of jelly, (it must be jelly 'cause jam don't shake like that) a pull on shaper like Spanx might work, no hooks or zippers to peep through. That and some hips/butt padding and you'll look wonderful.

Or you could do like most women do when we see those catalog models and laugh on the outside, cry on the inside, and have another glass of wine.

Tip from my wife, who does light opera: stockings and shoes first, then the corset.

Awesome advice :)

Spanx would be strong enough to give hour glass shape? I figured it would just help keep stomach flat but not shape sides. Cause otherwise I think I could get away with just padding otherwise. I tried finding form fit but it's been difficult, for my body type and bust I have the shape wear doesn't look good because it's either way to short or too tight but top. I recently purchased 2 shirts that are pretty good but it does kind of hang in the front to its like boobs and then hanging shirt instead of following my body. I got 2 new pictures of it in my gallery, I tried a belt under my boobs a bit but I'm not sure if it's correct or not haha. Monday I'm going skirt shopping because I only have that blue one...and I don't think it goes well with the attire I have now

I'm thinking padding but summer fun would defiantly be sweaty then :\

I finally took the time and viewed your photos, here is some brutally honest GG opinions.

* Always wear a wig when sharing your image.
* Shave or cover your arms.
* Use the camera timer, a selfie stick, or mirror, and at a lower angle. The views make one arm and your head look huge and out of proportion.
* You've got a cute little butt, for a man.

I may sound like a sexist bitch, but a woman should have curves. Your ample top should match the bottom. Whether you decide on a corset or cincher won't matter much except for your own pleasure. Spanx won't work for what you have in mind. You do need some hips and butt, consider padded panties as a start.

Most shape wear is designed for a woman's shorter torso and wider hips, so a proper fit is hard to find. For us larger breasted women, a belt is not a good accessory unless it's worn looser and on the hip, ample hip.

My opinions come from the perspective of an oversize (not FAT!) woman and may not matter much to your own ideal shape. A nice overall presentation will look more feminine than allowing boob size alone make a statement for you.

Awesome :) I love the honesty, I'm trying to go for most passable as I can get so I need all the information possible. The two newest photos were a bit of a rush thing so I wasn't fully ready but I agree with all your statements, I was more looking for information on if the belt was a good idea. While shopping I seen a lady with a belt under the boobs which I thought looked good and wanted to steal the style haha.

So with a tshirt how do you stop the fabric drop so it doesn't look like your shirt follows the crest of your boobs then falls straight down?

I defiantly want\need shape wear just undecided what I want haha.

Whenever I go out I cover my arms but figured that one was between the community here and me haha and it was really warm in my house lol

I agree with Eileen's comments, above.

The only reason I allowed those photos to remain is due to the angle of the photos . . . it looks like someone with short hair, as opposed to the "man in a dress" look (which I will never allow). [-(

Some years ago I tried the corset approach and it just didn't work. It didn't make me look any more feminine and getting it all laced up was really a pain to do and to be honest my wife wasn't really thrilled with having to do me up in it. (I still have it so if you really want one I we could work something out). After it was all said and done, and I tried it several times it just didn't help me end up with the results I was expecting or wanting.

I'll take down the photos I just wanted the opinion on the shirt belt combo, and or how to stop the fabric waterfall off my boobs, to show off my thin ish stature.

So Sarah do you think a cincher or just pads might be better option than corset?

My instinctive response was you need hips (i.e. bottom and hip padding of some sort). After that you run into more subtle problems. Judging by the photos you've posted, you're quite tall - which is going to mean you're going to have to go for a body-shape of a tall, athletic woman (IMHO). That isn't a sort of wasp-waist figure.

I agree with Sarah Beth's comments about lacing the corset up. There is a knack to it, which I still haven't got. In the shop, when I tried it out, however, I thought the results were worthwhile. You can lace these things up more or less tightly, creating (in theory) whatever waist size you need. With the sort of body-shape you've got, my instincts are a cincher would be enough.

You're going to be fiddling about with your body-shape quite a lot - and the thing has to coalesce. It won't necessarily be a standard female image that makes that happen for you (again IMHO).

I'm 5'10" not sure if that is considered tall but just added information.

When everyone says wasp like do they mean slightly curved in waist or like extreme corseting? When I think of wasp like I think professionals that have like 10in waist do to years of practice wearing small corsets. I just want a slight hour glass so I'm not a perfect T shape lol. But from what I'm gathering a cincher and some pads would do this girl a favor??
