The idea of this thread is assist everyone (Especially the new crossdresser, TS or whomever is interested)
If you crossdress or wear shoes of the opposite sex, lets share data. Make it easier for people to get an idea of their size before walking into a shoe store or ordering online. For example,
the format to use is going to be Upper left corner, your regular shoe size, width and sex. A little bit of your time could help others find the right shoe size. . .

Re: SHOE SIZE EXCHANGE
I'm a bit disappointed in the members of the Crossdressers forum here. I had hoped some other people would take a moment to post their experiences with purchasing women's shoes. Granted, it is a bit of a ritual we have to go through, but such an exchange could be helpful.
In my case, none of the shoes I list are heels. You may have noticed, I started another topic about learning to walk in heels. I found a couple of pairs I like on zappos, but have no idea how well the sizes translate. Some help would be nice. . I am sure I am not the only person to have such questions.

Re: SHOE SIZE EXCHANGE
Westley, maybe it was the overwhelming amount of info you provided. Maybe others are thinking that's what you expected. I for one won't be posting all that stuff. I will post what I like and what works for me.
For example, Madden Girl shoes tend to run narrow for my foot, but Madden shoes do better. I have a wide foot and some styles simply don't work unless you can find them in a wide size. Every girl has to try her shoes on or suffer the consequences of a terrible day that ends with miserable pain.
Newbies to heels or those with weak ankles will do better to get clunky heels versus stilletoes. A heel needs to set squarely under the wearer's heel and it needs to be as stable as possible. In other words the shoe shouldn't be slipping off the foot especially when walking. As others said, leg muscles are invovled and like all muscles, these need to be stretched and conditioned. You need to pick what works for you. And finally, practice practice practice.
Every shoe brand can fit differently from every other brand. Ever country that makes a shoe can measure ti ever so slightly differtely even for teh same brand. This is one reason why you try on everything before you pull the tags off even when buying the same pair of pants from the same brand in case they came from a differnt factory. All the measurements you know are only starting points to get what fits for you; they aren't the last point.
