Lipstick?

Don't know about any of you, but for me putting on lipstick is the most enjoyable moment when I transition. After all is in place and I'm dressed from head to toe, it's only when I put on that first stroke of lipstick that I finally feel free, feel myself to be the woman I so long to be. Wondering if any of you have that same experience...

Lipstick always wears off me fairly quickly, so I tend not to use it except for special occasions; I use Chapstick on a daily basis.

That being said, the problem that I have with lipstick in general is that I absolutely *hate* seeing anyone wearing so much lipstick that it transfers to other people (when giving/receiving a kiss(es) ) or objects (coffee cups, wine glasses, silverware, etc.) . . . blech!!!

Lipstick is meant to stay on you, and only you. [-(

Hi .

I agree lippy does tend to come off and I'm not all that wraped with it , though years ago I did have one , maybe Jos brought it any way both she and I used it , till I could not get one like it again ,

And then I forget to wear it down the road , though most times I'm out I do, if I don't have it does not bother me . as you say nice when I'm out with my friends , or a do ,

I like a little color on my lips most times, but don't often use a lot of make-up. It has to be more of a special occasion to go through all that trouble. If I'm just going out for routine stuff, I'll just put on a bit of something not really extravagant.
Once I found some colored lip balm, not exactly lipstick, more like chapstick but with color. I really liked that, but can't find it any more.
When I do go through all the trouble of getting made up and want a more vibrant lip color, then I have a 2 component lip color I use. The color goes on first with a little sponge tip applicator, and then after it dries you put on the glossy sealer. The color lasts all day, and doesn't come off on anything. Of course that's more effort than a lipstick, but it stays where it belongs and looks good for hours. It's also more expensive, but it's worth it if you want a lip color that really performs.

Lipstick completes my face; my lips are thin and fairly pale. I like lipstick to define having any lips at all. I'm like SL; my lipstick doesn't last very long so I use a lip stain in hopes it lasts longer. It adds color, but it's not all waxy and thick.

Lipstick all the way for me. It completes my look. BUT a big but here is it has to stay where I put it and not transfer to anyone or anything else. I've found dabbing excess off and a little translucent finishing powder sets it pretty well.

Giggle... Not sure if "It completes me" but sure is important! Also important to match your nail and toe polish color both of which should math your outfit and (Giggle) mood!

I love to wear lipstick. It completes my full transformation as a woman.

I'm with Alisa, I'm not sure if it completes me but it is important.

Right now, I'm just happy to come home from work, kick off my "he" clothes, take a bubble bath with a glass of wine then put on some stockings and heels.
