Ok I am wondering if anyone has found a brand of Panties that will not cut you in your private area.

If I buy the size I need to fit me in the waist (6) then It cuts me in the private area. If I buy them to stop that then they do not fit me in the waist as that is a (9).

So I am hoping to hear of a brand that is wider in that area?????????????

Gelinda,

Your mileage may vary, but I've had good luck with Hanes Her Way high cut or French cut satin panties, also Vasarette (probably spelled incorrectly) satin panties, Satin Caress panties, and Secret Treasures (Walmart house brand) nylon ones, plus some unknown from Sears brand that my wife bought for herself, threw away the card, didn't like them so they landed in my panty drawer (they fit me fine).

Unfortunately, the fit of the same size differs among brands and styles.

I hope this may help point you in the right direction. I am fortunate enough to have my wife's guidance. I started out with a few pairs she gave me and since then I've been her "safety valve" when she bought some and didn't like them, plus others that she bought for me.

Jadeanne.

Hi Gee!
I too I guess am fortunate, I can wear high waist VS in a 6 or 8 and seem to have no problem. Perhaps as has been suggested, buy one pair of each and see what works. ( Iwould recommend a variety of colors) makes your undie drawer look sooooo sexy!

Hello Gelinda,

I found these links and thought they may be helpful when trying to determine correct sizing.

I try to avoid high-cut panties. Even the low-cut can cut in after a while. Much prefer long leg support panties or boxer-style. No seams, no cutting in, just nice and tight, snug around my upper thigh (mmm!) and very supporting. As long as they're lycra and they hug me, then they're luvverly. 8)

I like the lacy "boy shorts" type. Usually the "delicates" brand from JC Penney or the "cacique" brand from Lane Bryant. The lace legs don't cut into you.

One has to be careful when buying these type. If you hold them up by the waist band and look at how long the gusset hangs below the leg level, the shorter length gusset works best. One tends to fall out of those with the longer gusset.

I had never bothered reading this section as I do not go out dressed. I could never pass anyway.
Read this thread and it jogged my memory a bit.
I wear fullcut "Granny" panties and have noticed in the past few years that the crotch is being cut smaller. Used to be 3 inches or more but for some reason most are only 1 inch now. I was experiencing pinching, grabbing and complete fallout!
Got thinking about this and started sewing my own design with a crotch that is a full 4 inched. This design worked so well that I found the right fabric and changed the design slightly to make my own pantygirdles. I have since made several for my SO and a couple female friends.

I bought a pair of Elite 'granny panties' for the mrs. for christmas. She has yet to wear them, but I've tried them on and they feel great, they encapsulate the male genitals nicely and do not cut in at all.

I found some Hanes that worked for me, but I can't remember the style.

I have recently started wearing a brand called Exhilaration!
I found these at the local Target store.
I pick through the ones of my size and try to find a pair with the widest crotch.

I also like Partner's Intimates sold at Mervyn's stores.
They have always fit well.

There is a website called 'Get Crafty', which had a page showing how a gal made her undies from old t-shirts.
If I can come up with a link, I'll post it here.
I made one pair and they worked pretty well, but I need to adjust my pattern some more.

Being able to sew is WONDERFUL!
Someday I hope to be really good at it!

Here's a website that deals a little bit with sewing for CD/TG/TS's

Here's the website with the t-shirt panties
Well, here's A website, I still can't find the one I'm looking for.

Hi all,

I'm the quiet type. Forgive me if I don't say a lot. I do keep up with the forum though, and this is truly a lovely group of people.

This is an old thread, I know, but I may be purchasing Hanes her way for the first time, and I'm curious how the sizes run in comparison to men's underwear. Those low rise type look very comfortable.

XOXO

Brianna -

You might want to try Hanes Her Way's Elegance Hi-Cut, which sit at the waist with a lace waistband, legs are hi-cut for ease of movement, the nylon panty is stretchy enough to keep everything in place, and the elastic in the legs keep the panties where they are supposed to stay without any 'binding'. A cd friend of mine swears by this brand as being the most comfortable for her, and she's well-endowed.

Another brand that 'stays put' but are stretchy enough and they don't bind, either, are the Hikini style from Vasarrette - - hip-hugger height, but bikini leg cut; usually $2.33/pair at WalMart.

As a GG, I find I wear these styles more often than not, too, as they are super comfortable.

My choice is the boy short style (rather ironic), and especially the Victoria's Secret Second Skin brand. or others that a satiny comfortable. I do like the high rise type also but can't wear them more than 8 hours or so as I get the same cutting sensation.
