I have a problem with my lipstick bleeding into the creases around my mouth. I don't slather my lipstick on and I always use a liner; are there any tricks I am not aware of?

Dang, I woulda said use a liner. I used to when I used lipstick. I use a stain now and no liner. Anyway, you got me curious and so Google gave me,
https://www.makeup.com/tricks-to-keep-l ... m-bleeding. The one thing that caught my eye was the dry lips or was it dry skin?

I use a liner, lipstick, blot, and use a sealer called lip chic. It works for me.
One thought is do you have moisturizer on your whole face? If your face is too dry or too oily that may be causing the bleeding??? Just a thought. Oh and another, do you blot the lipstick after putting it on?

I googled it a while back myself and, according to what I found, line the lips, fill in with the liner, apply lipstick, blot and reapply. I have a tendency to have dry skin so maybe the moisturizing thing will help. I have never heard of a lipstick sealer; maybe I will have to look into that.
If none of those work perhaps a semi-permanent marker...............only kidding.

If you have dry skin, I would try moisturizer on your whole face once a day including your forehead and neck. Moisturizer should always be your first layer of makeup. You moisturize, let set for a few minutes, then apply makeup. For myself I shave, then moisturize. Go and put on my foundations and after that is done I am already to put on makeup.
Hope that helps,

Dermablend just came out with a makeup primer. It is a jell that goes on after your moisturizer is set. Us it sparingly. It goes a long way. It should be allowed to dry completely before applying your foundation. When it dries you will have the sensation of tightening. Don't forget to apply it to your lips too. It really works and keeps your makeup in place for as long as you want (up to 24 hours).
This should keep your lipstick in place. It does for me.
Good luck.
