Place to buy breastforms and wigs in San Francisco

Post by Veronica Smith »

I'll be visiting SF in acouple weeks, staying in the Union Square area
(Grand Hyatt). I'm looking for suggestions for a place to buy
breastforms and a wig near that area.

Hi Veronica,

Here's my suggestion.

http://www.thebreastformstore.com/

This gentleman (the owner) is the nicest person I've ever had the fortune of purchasing from. :) He's super polite, has great products, incredibly TG friendly and he's also very kind and understanding to women who call for their husbands/SOs.

I know this isn't in San Fran, but anytime I see anyone mention buying forms, he just beats any price and is so cool that I mention it. Sorry if you were only asking "San Fran Only Please"

I don't know about breast forms (not sure I want to either, sorry) but there's a wig store on Mission Street almost to Cesar Chavez (formerly known as Army St), I will try to find out the street #. Its nowhere near the square but may be worth a trip (you have to go through The Mission, the Latino neighborhood so take time to eat some good food too). Maria's best wig came from there and the man who runs it is very helpful- he didn't bat an eye when I asked him to help Maria try it on (though Maria flinched big time  )
btw. If you have time and feel adventurous go explore The City!
Its a great place!

I do hope you have a very nice trip to SF! I want to go, but alas I am to cheap.

For anyone else shopping, I bought my forms where Beauty mentioned and endorsed. Because of many positive recommendations here I also bought mine from there and I was 100% happy in everyway.

The experience of having nice breast forms to wear, way exceeded my expectations. I think mine were in the 140 or 50 dollar range.

San Francisco is a great place to be. I spent a couple of weeks there back in the day. I agree with Beauty. The Breast Forms Store is where I purchased mine and the lady I spoke with was just fabulous and she helped me with my purchase and I just love them. Have a nice trip to San Francisco. Very friendly place to be for us gals. :) Hugs

Wigs are sold in salons. Also, you can find some women's wigs at some online shops.
