Shaved my legs for the first time since last spring. I know there is going to be some nice days left this summer but, I just could not hold out anymore. Anyhow I showered and shaved and rubbed them down with cocoa butter before walking up to the grocery store. I felt like I could sprint the 1/2 mile there, my legs felt so light without my jeans pulling on the hair everytime I took a step. I wanted to shout out to every male I walked passed, give it a try, its great!

I love the feeling of shaved legs too. I have been shaving them on and off this summer and nobody has said anything negative to me when I am in guy mode.

Of course, I am a runner and I can always use that as an excuse if people ask.

I've enjoyed my shaved legs this late summer too! It is fun to have painted toes with my birk's as well.

You just have to learn to be careful where you put your legs?!
If you get any bruises or cuts they really stand out on shaved legs!

Here's a subject that we all agree on! LOL
I've been keeping myself shaved and smooth for about the last year. I LOVE it! Something about that smooth feeling, and it's even better when you're wearing silky stockings.
Remember to heed Virginia's advice, tho.... be careful about bumping into anything.

p.s.- I've been using the Venus razor, and think it's the best out there for giving you a nice comfortable, close shave.

Stockings on smooth legs. It doesn't get any better than that.

I have been keeping my legs smooth this whole summer and haven't had one negative comment, in fact one woman in our apt complex that I met down at the swimming pool thought it was a real cool thing, then she noticed that my underarms and chest were also smooth and that really got her to talking about gender space and how much we as Americans put so much into it and that when she traveled in Europe nobody really gives it much thought. I think that was really cool and we have become quite close as friends and she has since been over to my apt. She then used my bathroom and saw all my makeup and that got her to open up to me even more and she thinks that it was way cool. She then ask if I dressed in female clothes and so I showed her my bedroom, that pretty much floored her. She said she would have never thought that I dressed but she really liked it and thought that maybe we ought to get together and do dress-up together. By the way she and I are the same size, (8) 38b, 28, 36, shoe size her 10,me 8 1/2 so go figure and we are having a great time.................Hugs, Lynn

I've been keeping my legs shaved all year round for the last 2 seasons. The trade off has been most excellent! I regularly visit the tanning beds and have worked up a nice one and with out any apt. lurkers passing by.Plus I now leave my painted toe nails happy as well! I do love shaving my legs. Doesn't it feel and look so nice? I've been shaving all winter for years and two years ago I said'What the heck,I'm not stopping." No one will ever ask if you shave your legs. It's like a man wearing a toupe. Everyone knows but no would ever say anything. I use a Venus razor that has the battery and vibrates. I though it was a gimmic but it really feels nice. I always use shaving gel. It is so wonderful if you can find the time to pour a glass of wine,put on your favorite music and draw a hot bath. I put some candles on and shave my legs ,dry off and paint my toe nails. It's not fair that only women should enjoy such a calming and serene thing. If you love the way you look and feel go for it all year long. Life is too short. I'm such a girlie girl!

Reminded me of a show in tv this weekend.

A construction crew was treated to a day at a spa. The guy doing the treating (Foreman?) commented on how unlucky of of the ladies was at having to give a massage to one guy, saying something like "Poor Jenny, bet she never thought she'd be giving a massage to a bear."

If I was that hirsute, I think I'd make quick friends with the local spa for frequent waxing. Followed by a massage using a hair minimising moisturizer.

I definately enjoy shaved legs too, feels soo nice & looks pretty too....
I went without shaving for a couple of weeks once and had to start the
cycle over so my legs would get use to it again, what a horrible first couple of days, itch itch scratch scratch. Never again will I not shave.
My friends see my shaved legs and don't say a word..........

Well, after that one incident early on there wasn't a comment all summer!! That incident was with some guys who had RECENTLY seen me with hairy legs. I feel comfortable shaving again next summer. Remember, this is coming from someone who was absolutely scared stiff of it at the beginning. And I also live in Indiana, smack in the middle of the Bible Belt!! If I can do it, so can you. Just make sure you're well shaved BEFORE you dig out those shorts.

I have been keeping my legs, and as a matter of fact my whole body, including arms shaved and or hair free now for almost a year.
I expected to get some comments this past summer, but none were forth coming at all.
Shaved legs feel great, and also make panty hose and / or stockings feel so much better

I will never leave the hair on my legs again
