Hi Janice,
I like petticoats, too. A number of our members are petticoat fans and we like to post about them. Please feel free to join in.
Here is a link to a thread on petticoats http://crossdressers-forum.com/forums/v ... .php?t=176
What is your favorite hemline length? I have 5 in various lengths from 19 inch to floor length. I bought 4 of them online from 2 different websites and my floor length one from a thrift store.
You could try wearing a half slip or full slip as a liner underneath the net petticoat. I do that with one of mine.
I hope this will provide some help.

ebay
Bought several on ebay. Sam's are very nice, Malco Modes are good. Many have organza inner and outer layer with a net layer in between. The crystal fabric is very pretty. It's the yardage that counts. I have one 120 yard crystal petticoat that is so full and wonderful to wear.
For a "swishy" sound, wear one under a taffeta skirt. That's the best.

I've had great luck at www.dancecenter.com It's a square dance place in oregon and carries Malco and Sams and others. Very good prices since its geared to the general dance community. And Ginny, the owner, is very CD friendly and will answer your questions by email. She also has a bridal petticoat section, so pretty much covers it all. Stay away from the CD sites, they tend to double or triple the prices. (actually, stay away from them for about anything)
