Places to shop for wigs and other girly stuff in Houston, TX

Hi there!

I live in Houston and I am trying to expand my choice of places to shop and items that I may buy. The one item I would like to get is a wig. Does anyone know of a shop in Houston that would help me out?

I've been able to get anything else I want here - I regularly go into Foley's and Dillards to buy lingerie and some clothes (tops and a skirt), Wal-Mart for toiletries and underwear (camisoles, bras, panties, some shapewear) and CVS for cosmetics.

I have not yet worked up the nerve to go into a Merle Norman's for makeup help. Does anyone know of one in Houston that is CD friendly and discreet?

I appreciate all the help. I have a long way to go before I am presentable in public, but the journey sure is fun!

Someone sent me a tip already - thanks ! There is a place in Houston that does makeovers or gives instructions on doing makeup - $75 for 1.5 hours for makeup. Makeovers are much more and require 2-4 hours. I can't wait !!! Won't be able to do it before the new year...
