Toe rings

My very conservative wife has said she wants a toe ring. I would like to surprise her with one but I don't know anything about them. Any suggestions or places to shop for one? Are they sized like finger rings? My tastes run more toward pearls and plastic bracelets, I would dress like Harriet Nelson everyday if I could.
Thanks, Jill

I do believe that they need to be sized.

So, the best way to surprise her with one is take her to the shop (where? I couldn't say). IMO.

I have several toe rings. The ones I've seen wrap around and you pinch them to tighten them. I'm sure there are others, but those are the ones I've seen. I bought mine at Fashion Bug but I've seen them in WalMart and any of the ear ring places in the malls.

Thanks both of you. I took her to Fashion Bug after dinner tonight. She ask why we were there? She got panicky and wanted to know if I was shopping for me! After we got inside I told her to look at the toe rings. She found one she liked, sort of a Celtic knot. She also found a top and necklaces, so $60.00 later she is happy and we can ignore the fact that I also like pretty things again.

Cool!

Was the ring sized or was it like Carla mentioned, wrap around?.

They wrap around. 3 different ones in a pack for $7.00 . I wore one all day today. It looks nice but not comfy in work boots.

I've been wearing toe rings for years now and they can be uncomfortable to wear at first but after a few days you get used to them and they really look great with polished toes and nice little strappy sandals.........Hugs, ~~Lynn~~

My problem is I can't stay in fem long enough to get used to them.

Bought mine on e-bay. Free shipping. I wear mine 24/7 as well. I only take them off rarely. One on each foot at present. Have worn 4 on each foot for awhile. They can be uncomfortable wearing a shoe with a closed toe. I wear slip on sandals and shorts most of the time. They are pretty with nail polish and a nice ankle bracelet really adds a nice touch. :)

I think they are sexy too! Short shorts or a mini and strappy heels and of course the necessary ankle bracelet! Most of mine are the "squeeze to adjust" style. I must have strange toes as the rings that are solid are very difficult to keep from rotating unless you have the right size and for me it is difficult to get them over the front of my toe and make them fit.
Anyway, that's my story and I am sticking with it!

Toe, heel, heel toe! party on!

The front of my toes are are larger then where the rings go as well Virginia. With the squeeze ons you have to be careful of taking them off to often as they break. I've ruined some I really loved. Best to leave them on.
