How can I add six inches to my hip measurement?

I have finally accepted that I am a big gurl. Or even a big guy in a girls blouse. My bust and waist, when dressed measure up to womens UK Size 22, which in your language is USA Size 20.
My bust is right, my waist is too. But how can I add six inches to my hips?
I have padded panties, you hardly notice the difference.
Do any of you gurls increase your hip size to make the dress look right?
Tell me how you do it, please......

Kerri,
Wish I had an answer, padded panties are all I am aware of!
Of course having access to a good seamstress may help too! Custom fit dresses, slacks and skirts can make a difference!
Good luck and let us know what you decide!

Kerri,
The thing about padded panties is that unless they are made specifically for crossdressers, they tend to add very little to the hip measurements, since most females have 'enough' in that area.
Have you ever visited the website for
http://www.clcrv.com/ (Classic Curves International)? Their hip padding products are just great. Yes, they are expensive, but they work wonderfully to help you achieve the right body proportions, and believe me, being able to go out and show those right body proportions is very, very important to passing, IMHO.
Espy (the owner) is also a cd/tg, and she is very helpful and nice to deal with. Best investment for your money...
Regards,
Gaby

I'll second Gabi's suggestion. My long-leg Veronica garment from Classic Curves is years old and overdue for replacement, but it still does a fantastic job of balancing my shoulders and making my waist appear smaller by comparison.

Hi Gaby,
Say! That link to Veronica I, II, III & IV is amazing.
I like the look of II. But it is a lot of doh.
But then the money I had saved for new boobs could be used for my butt. Now that I have ordered a new pocketted size 42D bra as recommended on another thread.
I will give it a lot of thought. And here was me trying to figure out, whether the circumference of a circle was 2#r or #r2.
thanks for the link

Kerri,
I have to make enhancement from foam. I dont need 6", but the method would probably work with a little effort. It would be a lot of trouble to try to write it down, so PM if you want some details. I am not a big gurl. But bigger than a lot of GG's. The problem I had to fix was normal measurement of 39-32-39 but my front profile is almost straight, so with 40C top I look top heavy. I have to cinch the middle a lot and add the rear and side padding till it looks proportional (with pretty good results I think). I wasted about $30 worth of foam before I got the hang of it. Easily held in place with cutoff panty hose. Make a pattern when done and yer good to go.

Years ago they sold girdles with hip & rear end padding. Also each seperate, hips or rear. Now only rear padding, in a catalog. Perhaps the rear end padding can be moved to the hips, since they are removeable.

JC Penney's has both hip/rear and rear only padded girdles in their catalog. About $40 for the hip/rear girdle and a little less for the rear only.
Haven't tried either of them, but have been considering it.
Love,

Alana,
I will have to check this, but I think JC Penney is oneof the orgs which do ship to international addresses.
But thank you all the same.

Wow, I work too hard to remove any extra padding, I wouldn't dream of trying to add any! I am a gym nut.... and slender.

Funny but I don't think it will help. Men tend to add weight to their gut and not their posterior.
