shaving

Post by Juanita »

Hi Girls

I am just wondering how many of us have hairy arms and hands. How many of us shave our hands and arms. I cover my arms with long sleeve tops but my hands are not shaved. :?
Just trying to be one of the girls.

I've trimmed the hair, but my wife won't let me shave it.

Hairy arms and legs here. Well actually pretty hairy all over. I usually trim up the hair some on my hands and sometimes my arms but still wear long sleeves. Shave or remove hair from my fingers. And I have been eppilating the hair on my chest per ok from my wife.

I stopped - for now!

Post by Andi L »

I had shaved arms, hands, legs, chest etc for the last six months. I recently stopped shaving because it was a daily chore to keep the stubble down. Even after a close shave, no stubble, I could still see the dark hair in the folicle. So, now I'm living with a compromised feeling - I hate my hair, really detest it, but can't afford electrolysis, and shaving doesn't seem to get it done anymore. :(

I have smooth arms and hands and manage keep them like that by shaving regularly. Unlike my 5 o'clock shadow which always appears about 1:30 in the afternoon no matter what I do to discourage it. Wife loves my hairy legs so they stay, patterned or dark tights do a good job of disguising them.

I shave my arms, underarms, legs, bikini area, etc. When I go to trangendered events, I also make sure I shave the hair from my wrists, back of the hands, and the back of my fingers. I dislike any body hair on me.

I don't have much body hair, but have used my Norelco shaver to trim my legs several times and my wife didn't notice.

I also once did my chest and arms and she didn't really notice that either.

Last Christmas my wife gave me a Remington shaver and that's what I use on my face, but I still keep the 5 year old Norelco for use in other places.

I keep my chest area shaved and my arm hair trimmed, but I get lazy with my legs sometimes. I normally use Nair on my legs and hands. My wife takes care of the back hair since my arms are not quite long enough to reach these areas. I have been doing this for several years and after a few times, the hair seems to be lighter and thinner requiring less maintenance. I guess it just gives up growing....... kinda like the hair the top of my head.

I keep my legs and arms (including the backs of my hands) shaved at all times. I only shave my chest if it's going to be exposed by the outfit I'm wearing, though I wish I could keep it hairless full-time.

Yes, I shave, seems like all the time! I do it primarily because a woman should be smooth and silky, but I have a secondary motive and that is for the sport that I participate in.

For those who ?question? your shaving and you are seeking a good excuse, sports are always a good response.

Cycling, swimming, are two good "excuses." Maybe you can admit to be a professional "tanner" also what with Spring and Summer coming!

We have listed many responses if someone is nosey enough to even ask why you have no hair on your legs/arms, etc.

You may have some of your own!

1. Why I never noticed - thanks for telling me!
2. I have a highly contageous disease and it makes it fall out. Let me shake your hand for noticing!
3. DR.'s orders!
4. It's a birth defect!
5. Actually it is on the inside!
6. I perform better at my sport of ____________(fill in the blank).
7. You should see my fangs that come out at night too!!
8. And that affects you how?
9. (I have used this one before) It helps me put my panty hose on better!!
(the idiot just shook his head and wandered off! )

Virginia, you wrote in part, "For those who ?question? your shaving and you are seeking a good excuse, sports are always a good response."

Now I don't know about the rest of you girls, but I am fair skinned. I sunburn very easily - that can cause cancer.

My wife and I find that it is much easier to spread sun protection on bare skin than hairy skin. Therefore, I remove the hair from my body for health reasons.

My view - get rid of the hair and use sun protection - especially in the Summer months when there is greater risk of sunburn. You will find that the sunscreen is much easier to apply and you don't end up with a bunch of hair matted to your skin.

I tried losing the arm hair once, and only one person really noticed. It was more of a "did you shave your armhair or something?" more than anything, and I just said no lol. I'm not too hairy to begin with so it's a little easier to get away with, although lately it's a little thicker than when I did it before, so it might be more noticeable now. I shave my legs once in a while since I can just wear pants over top (just did last night in fact! ^_^)

I shaved off what little hair was left on both arms a few weekends ago. The only person who took any notice was my wife, and she didn't notice for almost three weeks.
