Shoes for us TG Ladies

Post by ChristineK »

Ok Many of us have problems with shoes and when we find them in our size they are expensive. I have a few solutions for you. Click on the below links and WALMART has shoes in our size. I bought both of these and I have to say they are great for under$13.00. When they say pointed! They are, so if you have big feet like me they will look big in them as well

For the price I am 100% for them.

I like the shoes at chadwicks. http://www.chadwicks.com/Womens-SHOES-a ... eptId=8371

They have a lot of wide sizes in 11 and 12. I wear a size 11w.
Nice quality and once you are on their mailing list, you get 40 and 50% off once or twice a month, you can use those on sale items too!

I have a problem with shoes as well.

My problem is not with large, or wide feet, but have the same problem as My sister did, and that is Long Narrow feet.

I take a ll double A or Medim in Ladies, and that was the same size as my sister took.

One other problem I have is that have one foot shorter than the other , so that limits drastically what hight i can wear in heels

At payless shoe stores, I have no problem with largershoes. I fit size 11 Med or wide dependingon the style.

ChristineK,

Have a look at Payless. It used to be that 11 was the top of their sizes, but two of the stores near me have a selection of things in 12 and 13. I actually was a little miffed on my last shoe shopping trip, because I found a pair I liked, but they had them in 12, but not 11.

One thing about Payless is you can order online and have them shipped free of charge to your local store. If you don't like them or the size is wrong you can get your money back at the store.

up to about five years ago I was a size nine. recently iI noticed I have moved into the 9.5 category and having to go to a 10 in some shoes. For keds I'm still a nine(?) and can even wear a 8.5 all day. In other ladies sneakers I find a 10 also is my size. some flats I need 9.5 but in heels it's a 10 now. Bad luck... now I have to do more shoe shopping.

One thing I miss is the abundance of larger shoes in the shoe stores near me...when I lived in Huntsville, it was almost too easy to find cute shoes in my size(12's) and now, if I even see anything above an 11(regardless of style), I'm shocked.

If you wanna shop online and have hard to shop for size feet, as I do, two places I'd suggest are www.zappos.com and www.designershoes.com

I keep forgetting, but another store you might want to consider is Torrid. If you don't have one of their brick and mortar stores nearby, they are on the web.

http://www.torrid.com/torrid/index.jsp

I used to shop there all the time, when I lived in Charlotte, but now the nearest location to me is forty minutes away. ALL of their shoes are wide-width, and most styles are big for their numbered size. In most vendors' shoes, I wear a size 11, but in most Torrid styles I can get away with a 10. Most of their styles run up to 12 now. They carry a little of everything, from flats to boots. For some reason, they are now carrying a lot of what I think of as "stripper shoes" with platform toes and clear lucite heels.

You're not alone in thinking along that way, one look at the larger sized women's shoes on eBay puts me in the mind of answering an age old question..."if I needed to outfit an army of invading strippers & hookers in thigh high boots, THIS is the place I'd come to"
