I can't remember my exact age, but I believe I was around ten. Someone had dropped off a bag of hand down clothes for my sister and I. I managed to be the first one to come across them. I looked in the bag and found many beautiful bikini sets. I don't know what came over me, but I felt as if I'd struck gold. I grabbed the bag, and ran to my room. I dumped out the bag and sorted out the bikinis from the rest of the clothes. I hid my loot and put the bag back.
That night, I tried on several bikinis and went to sleep with them on. What a feeling!! From that point on, I would go to sleep in one or more of my bikinis. This went on for several years. This was my only access to female clothes at the time because my mother had left and my sister was younger than I.
Sometime in my later teens I decided to quite completely. Not sure why. So I took all my stuff to the garbage pile and burnt it. Didn't feel bad about it either. That was the last time I had anything to do with it for over ten years.
Skip forward to a couple of years ago, and my wife asks me to put on one of her bras to see what it looks like. I asked her if I could were it around the house for a while (under a shirt). She said yes, so I wore it for the evening and to bed that night. This brought back incredibly strong feelings and urges. It felt so right and natural. Since then I've learned a lot more about myself from the net. I more or less came out about it to my wife. Somedays she OK about it, many others, not. So I've basically slipped back into the closet for now to keep things simpler.

LOVELY STORY.

I can relate to your early years, and your current situation. Like you, my wife seemed to encourage it for a while, then the shutters came down hard. So it's deep in the darkest closet for me too, when I'm at home.

Our motto honey, "small steps just small steps." Some of the SO want to know and others don't. Communication is critical, just don't push it. You need to "hint" around and see what kind of response you get. Point out things on TV or articles or jokes just to kind of open the door and see how she reponds. Good luck and I am sure that some of our sisters here may have some ideas also.

Gold star time! Thanks for posting your beginnings story. It was great!

I'm like you. I started rather young. I would dress quite a bit at home because I usually always had time to myself at the homestead. My first clothing was nylons, but it soon turned into dressing all the way! What a liberating experience.

Purging is the norm, but some never do it. So feel welcome with what you did there. It always stinks forking out the money again though when it's time to buy things again.

There's lots to learn here from very, very wise people on this board. Thanks again for posting your story. It really was great to read.
