should you take it to the grave?

Post by LeslyAllen »

What do you do when you are 55, been thru two marriages, have a 28 year old and a four year old and have been in the closet since you were ten. Everyone thinks of you one way and you are not.

I think only you can answer that question. Are you willing to risk losing the love of those close to you if you come out.It happened to me and it was difficult. The suprising thing is I think it was worth it to be able to be true to myself. On the other hand they may accept you as so many others have. You will never know until you try.Taking chances is a difficult thing to do,but it could pay off one way or the other.

Depends on what you feel *you* need to do.

If staying in the closet works for you, then stay.

If you can no longer fight it, and are worried about the outcome of not staying in the closet, you might want to talk it over with a therapist. Especially if starts affecting you life, health.

Thank you Donna for your response. I have seen a few therapists that have not helped me. I am finding more answers from chatting and reading in Crossdressers-Forum. Thank you Lesly

The girls on here helped me find my inner self. Much cheaper and less painful the several years of therapy and drugs (prescribed one). Reading alot of the threads on the forum has greatly relieved my mind. I really have peace with my inner self. My wife loves the new me even more. I have more compassion, more understanding, and a calmness. I think that's why she can accept my CDing as much as she does.

I can't claim that chatting with the girls on here will cure you but it has worked for me. So before you do anything else, see if chatting and reading here will give more insight into what drives you. And all the girls on here will try to help.

Hi Lesly

If you are unhappy with how your life is right now, it's never too late to make those changes. Life is too short. How you make those changes is the challenge of course, but if you can do it, the rewards should end up outweighing the sacrifices. Life is all about living. If you can be happy doing it, you'll have no regrets.
