How it began

Post by Jamie Vanessa »

I was between 6-8yo when i saw my moms slip sitting on her bed. i was really curious as to what it would be like to wear it. i put it on and was in instant heaven. i have been doing on and off dressing since then for the past 9 years. on halloween i dressed as a girl and got lots of compliments. just this morning i decided that i would begin to underdress seeing as if my dad found out i would be in huge trouble. but i have my knee highs and training bra on (yes i wear only a training bra but it's all i could find) and hope to someday get some panties to go with everything. thanks for your time ladies

Vanessa, I don't want to see you in trouble, but that is a good start.

I think that in the end, you might feel better coming out and being accepted. However, it also sounds like things may not go very well if you did.

I think that if I had to do it all over again,....I would have come up with a reason to see a therapist. Once in therapy (and alone), I would have expressed my concerns for crossdressing, and coming out. With the help of the therapist, I would come out as gently as I could.

That all said, do not take these words as advice. I know nothing about you or your situation.

As for panties,....you are of an age when you could easily buy your own. I would suggest looking online for size conversion so that you have an idea what your size is before hand.

Any other clothes,....you might try the goodwill or Salvation Army stores. There you might buy female intended jeans/pants and tops, which are fairly neutral but slightly girly. Those you could wear to school without turning too many heads.

At some point, you will reach an age at which you just don't give a damn what others think. You will wear what you want,...when you want.
You're only as feminine as you feel.
