many thanks to all the ladies who responded to my advice inquiry.yes i would see my love of material as a fetish i would love to remember what garment in my mothers /aunts underwear started me on this beautiful journey.after the event happens i dont undress quickly as i always savour the pleasureand never feel guilty.and as always look forward to the next timeand i never worry i love being dressed and now feel the i will be guided by allthe ladies on this great site when i see ladies of my age they are nearly all wearin trousers and the sight of a slip on a women is nearly a distant memory i wear slips and foundation wear under my day cloths but its at home i can dress for my self.
i never dress like a drag queen i wear sensible blouses and skirts and apply light make up nothing too heavy.i have always bought my day wear and underwear all my life and never had a moment of panic in all the big stores in dublin.i fact a lot of my nightwear and slips are vintage now as most of the great makers names have gone.again i want to say thanks to joan my nearest neighbour tara m and all the other girls who came back to me.
the only thing i missed was having a crossdresser of my age here in dublin that i could relate to and form a friendship with.i dont worry now because i have all you fine ladies who will be a friend to me. kind regards to all.
love MM dublin.

Mary, you are most welcome. In fact, it is our pleasure to talk about all these things with you, believe me, we enjoy wearing a pretty outfit as much as you.
So don't give up hope about finding a like minded spirit in Dublin so quickly. Some statistics suggest that as many as 10% of the population crossdresses, but even if it's only 1% that still makes a few thousand in Dublin alone.
And in the meantime, we are all here for you. We are all ready and willing to listen, offer advice, and just shoot the breeze :)

Mary Margaret

You could always pop over the Irish Sea to Liverpool or Manchester. We have a great social scene here and we do get out. Wednesday night is when we take over the so called "Gay Village" in Manchester. Manchester Concord are open each Wednesday if you do not feel happy going out. Feel free to get in touch with me for more information if you want.

Best Wishes
Susan

I know some things.
