My Start

I was about eight years old and watching my mum bake. She often gave me a bit of dough to roll and make my own cake. She said to me one day,:You should have been a little girl." Well it stuck in my head and it was the start of my crossdressing. Initially I used her make-up when she went to the shop, then stockings and pants. I was hooked.

Hi Joannelee,
Interesting, you started with the make up first, and then the clothes? We all are indeed different... I am wondering if the make up did anything special to or for you? I occasionally wear make up, and then only lip stick, it has little to do with the way I feel. but dose help to make a prettier picture.

Hi Joannelee, Love those girls from "down under." You all seem to have a unique approach to things! It's great! Welcome and we look forward to hearing more about you!
Love,
Deborah
PS: Don't let my sis, Darlene fool you - she's a "knock-out!

How did you know that Sis? Darlene is indeed the most precious, prettiest, and cutest thing that ever walked the face of this earth, when dressed and looking in the mirror, but so is Deborah, Steph, Kathy, Beauty Etc.
It is one of the most wonderful feelings for a person to look at themselves in the mirror and see nothing, except "The pretty one." Oh the beauty of being able to enjoy the luxury of a harmless fantasy.

Thanks for your welcome ladies. I am very happy at your response and hope to have many discussions with you in the future. As for starting CD with make up, well I have no answer. I felt good about it at the time. Of course I was too young for any possible sexual arousement. But it lead to deeper feminine feelings as I got older.
Love and xxxxxx

HI Joannelee ,
Thanks for sharing your beginnings with us , many people have told me I should have been a girl and I take that as a compliment .
You come from the most tollerant city " Sydney " , although CDs walk around the shops here in Melbourne with no problems .

Hi Miranda
Thanks for your welcome. Actually I come from a small town on the south coast of NSW. There would be no need to explain attitudes etc. and shopping difficulties. So unfortunately I am restricted to the closet. How lucky you are to be living in Melbourne. I have recently returned from a touring holiday in Vic.

Thats ok JoAnn ,
The name Merinda was not my choice it was given to me in the form of a dream , in the dream a male figure kept refering to me as " mirror image Merinda" .
I asked if he meant MerAnda and he said NO! you are Merinda thats your name.
I had not heard the name before in my life and dismissed the dream as one of those silly dreams that you have, about 2 weeks later while watching television the name Merinda was used for a character.
After I picked myself up of the floor in disbelief that it is actually a real name , I accepted that maybe I really am " Mirror image Merinda ".
I agree it would not be wise to go public in a country town , I think the movie "Presilla queen of the desert "( although about gay CDs) portrayed reality with its over conservative country folk and tollerant city folk.

Hi Beauty ,
I have always believed that dreams are a combination of your subconcious and an open line that can pick up the spiritual thoughts of others both alive and dead .
My SO-Kirdy finds me scary when I make comment on what what she's thinking or when something happens that I drempt earlier .
lots of love
