I would have to say that I first started playing dress up as early as 5 or 6. That would have been about 1970. I was the youngest of 3. Sister was 20 months older than me so her panties, leotards, tights and dance costumes, slips etc. where all available just by opening here dance bag or dresser drawers. they were all so pretty to me. I must have been caught and scolded although I do not remember it, because I was already hiding the fact that I was dressing in her clothing. I remember putting on her panties and running around playing and putting on leotards and/or tutu's and prancing in the bedroom.
Fast forward to about 10 or 11 (5th grade). I was getting curios as I grew older and started snooping in my mothers closet and dresser drawers and WOW. She was definitely a panty collector. Every style and color of the 60's and 70's that could be imagined. there was also some other lingerie items. Baby doll nighties, girdle shapers, panty girdle's, wigs, a garter belt and silk back seamed nylons , of coarse bras, dresses, skirts, etc. etc. etc. It was a young cross dressers dream come true. I began at this time to play with her makeup. I got pretty good at it really quick.
I was wearing feminine clothing almost everyday by the time I was a teenager. I couldn't get enough, I felt so pretty when I was dressed in girl clothes. I bought my first lingerie when I got a drivers license. It was a Fred Meyer in the little town I grew up in. Never forget it. It was a black nylon and lace teddy. I had never had one and couldn't resist. once I bought one item it was all over. I was buying anytime I had extra cash. and dressing whenever I had the chance.
I am 50 now. Still in the closet. Have a huge collection of female clothing. Married to a woman who doesn't know. Dress when she is gone for the day. Like today.

I still shop at Freddy's now and again. Right when they open, try on shoes, skirts and dresses. Nothing purchased. Yet.

Thank you for sharing Nicole. I too have purchased my clothes as spare cash became available.
