Mellissa's story

Post by Mellissa »

well iwas about twelf i think maybe thirteen when i started
I alway liked girl things before like barbie dolls i always played with the girls in the neighborhood
but when i got into puberty i started wearing stuff from my mom (dont have a sister)
you know very sneaky and in hiding when she was out
as i grew older i got the need to dress more often and i noticed i felt better when i did (used Lady's perfume to Lou Lou by cacharel i love it)
But i also started doubting myself and felt like a freak
then i had to go in the Army ( we still had drafting then) a real macho mens world
there i couldnt dress up and i got really depressed ending in a servere gambling adiction and almost ending in a suicide (it was easy couse i almost had a gun in my hand every day in the Army)
But i couldnt do it
So i after that i realy woke up and started to explore this habbit i had and came to the conclusion that its just part of me
It took a long time for me to accept myself by then i was already married and had children
That made it more complicated
but now i'm out of my closet (the lonlyest place i ever been)
And i feel realy good about myself and feel more confident in talking about it
well it about time to it took me 21 years to get this far and it wasnt easy
but now i think its ok and i accept myself now as a better more open minded person

well thats my story in a nutshell

Melissa, that's a a very similar story to most girls here, starting young, stealing mom's clothes, and the feeling of guilt. I am glad you overcame the problems you had and accepted yourself for who you are. I am especially glad you did'nt commit suicide, I would have never seen those boots you posted on another thread. So, keep happy, take things easy with your wife, and enjoy life.

Love Amelie

PS_ I didn't know Holland had an army? (I sorry,,, I just had to say this)

Hi Mellissa,

Thank you so much for sharing your beginnings with us here. :)

I have yet to find the right perfume for me. :( I can't find one soft enough. I like a cloud or fluffy pillow smell. What I mean is when you smell it, that's what you think of.

I'm glad you are out of the closet. Good for you!!! :)

Thanks again for sharing your story with us Mellissa. It was great! :)
