I haven't been around for a little while so I figure I say hello and let you know that I am doing fine. I really want to thank the support from all of you and of course the moderators for helping my in this process. Now I feel a lot less fearful of people knowing about my attreacvtion for CDing. I have now my own album posted. I am still afraid to show my face but i have made progres to the point that I am bigining to show me from the side. I am trying to gather the courage to step out in the street one of this days again. I want people to see me but not my face. I don't know what that is all about. I think is shame. Do you girls have tips on how to deal with that fear ?

What are you fearful of? Someone will recognize you? Who here knows you? And if there is someone here that knows you or would recognize you, are they not in the same position as you? Aren't they CDs too?

How did I get over the fear? Just did it. No thinking about it. I am secure in being who I am. I don't worry about what anyone else thinks. I won't let what others may think of me rule me. Giving into that kind of fear gives someone I don't even know, power over me. I won't give anyone power over me.

Besides, it is very doubtful that anyone would recognize you by viewing your fem picture. No one would recognize me, and I've experimented to prove it. See for yourself, here's a before and after of me:

Mariaa, What can I say, after seeing Donna transform right before our eyes! A good looking guy, but a beautiful woman. I think you would surprise yourself in your transformation. If you haven't already, get some women's magazines, Vogue, MS, Ladies Home Journal, what ever and look at the make up ads and the way they look or even go to some of the web sites on the net. All the major makeup manufactuers have sites that will tell you the proper way to apply every type of make up. Some even let you do your own designing and will critique your results and offer suggestions. No offense to any GG's that may read this, but if you notice when you go out, malls, restaurants, what ever, GG's just do not seem to take much pride in their appearance anymore. Is it up to us (CD'ers) to raise the standard of femininity back to its rightful place???  :-k ! Virginia for one is doing her part and so is Donna! So Rock and Roll girl!!
