My Start

It all started at a very early age in England. I must have been 4 or 5 at the time when my parents invited an aunt to come stay with us and take care of myself and my brother while they worked. Although my memories are pretty vague ..its close to 50 years ..I can remember my aunt letting me play dressup and putting me in long dresses. When I think back its quite possible she may have seen something in me and perhaps was just nurturing that something.. I just don't know.
In 1959 my parents my brother and myself moved to Canada. I was 7 at the time and can distinctly remember at being very upset about leaving behind that aunt. .
Two years ago my uncle came from England for a vacation to see my mom and the rest of the family and dropped a bombshell. He told me and my wife one of the main reasons my parents had come to Canada was to get me away from that aunt. He didn't really go into why except to say that my parents had thought my she was having a bad influence on me and felt they needed to get me away from her.
The rest of my story is pretty typical...at about age 12 I started sneaking into my parents bedroom and trying on my moms clothes. I have been crossdressing ever since.
I'm not very good at putting my feelings and thoughts into words. I just hope someone can understand as to where I've been.

Hi Joselle,
Thanks for sharing your story with us. I can't help but wonder if your parents knew what your Aunt was up to. I also can't help but wonder if they knew what they did was more damaging than helpful. I can't imagine what it must have been like for you back then. Have you had contact with your Aunt since departing? I hope you're doing well now.

Hugs,
Kyra

Interesting Joselle. I reckon that will make you wonder if you were born to CD or if your Aunt influenced you.

Did she dress your brother also? And have the two of you discussed what your Aunt did?

Hi Ladies

Thank you so much for your replies

As for the question about whether my aunt dressed my brother.. I don't think so. She passed away many years ago when I was only a teenager..never did make it back to England to speak with her..only exhanged written letters and nothing was ever said about it.. One day soon I'm going to have to approach my mother on the subject...not quite so sure on how to though. Although I know she knows I like to dress ..she caught me once.. I'm still not easy with telling it to her. Its kinda crazy.. I have had very little problems telling most of my friends but just can't seem to bring myself to tell my family even though I think they already know. My moms not so good at keeping secrets.

Welcome Joselle ! :P
I find telling a secret to a close friend is far different from telling a relative. I wish you the best !

Welcome what a nice aunt you had you were lucky she took the time to dress you up to look like a girl. =D> Good for her.
I'm sure you are proud to have been in dresses at such an early age she would be proud of you today I'm sure. 8)
