I think that I have always had a thing for panties. I was never really sure where it came from but I knew that it was there. After my wife and I had been living together for over two yrs I decided on might during sex to try on a pair of hers which was rather easy since she always left hers on during sex because I asked her to. I found rather quickly that I liked the feel of having them on and it wasn't long before I was borrowing hers on a regular basis.
Then we hit a ruff spot and it looked like we were going to split up and I decided that I needed my own to wear. So I went shopping and bought some. Then it took another yr or so before I began to realize that it wasn't enough and I began to buy nighties and nightgowns.
Sometime after that I ran across a website that talked about crossdressing and transgenders and I began to realize that what I had been feeling all my life was actually a part of me that I had been hiding because of what I had been taught about being a man. That was when I started to realize that I couldn't hide from it and I couldn't hide it from my wife and more. Because by that time we were married and I just couldn't imagine living with the secret and taking a chance of destroying our life together.
Fortunately for me I have a very understanding and accepting wife who after almost a yr of reading and talking to me and others online has finally seen me in the past month for the first time dressed and even helped me with my makeup and outfits that I wore that weekend.
We still have a long way to go and I know that there will be times when even mentioning the subject will be off limits but we have taken some really big steps so far and we are doing great so far.
