Well, I started crossdressing when i was 8.... in my mothers lingerie drawer and closet. And mom always said she wanted a girl, used to tell me all the time. And funny she had one..... when I was 8..... Coincidence????

I continued to borrower her lingerie through grade school, and into high school. Even went out enfemme one night which is a thread in itself... hehe Also used to "borrow" some of my sisters, step sister, a couple boarders one of which ended up being my 10thgrade english teacer, and girl griends clothes...

Continued wearring lingerie into college and into marriage... always keeping it a secret..

Sooo fast forward, about 3 years ago, right after I was diagnosed with a brain tumor (actually a pitutary ademna which produced a female hormone Prolactine which enlarged my breasts) and started treatment... that my "hobby" came back with a vengence... after a 10 year period of very little dressing...

It was full speed ahead... hair, makeup, had to buy my own clothing since I was now smaller than my wife after loosing 50 pounds playing ice hockey twice a week... All in secret from my family, at least for a year and a half when my wife found a few skirts in my closet.... (another thread)

But I'm all self taught, looking and learning... books and the internet were invaluable. Went out enfemme in 2004, Price Utah... and once I started going out I couldn't get enough of it... Setting around the house dressed up just didn't cut it anymore... hehe

And Karren is the name that was always my fem name and equaled my birth name -W +K

The end... well maybe "The new beginning".... I'll be 55 in 5 weeks and having the time of my life..... lives.... hehehe

Hi Karren,
Well, Hon you answered my questions! Thanks, you are a sweetheart. Now if I can just get you to use the word "gift" as opposed to "hobby."
I really think you will be quite an asset to our forum so please stay and participate with us!

Penalty box, woodshed - they mean the same thing for Virginia! :P

On the bright side, though, ever since we've become a couple I've convinced her that the hayloft is sooooo much nicer than the woodshed. After all, it does have a king-size bed, satin sheets, and most importantly: ME!!! Yeah, and I'm so modest - ain't it great!?! :P

Hugs!

Lucky girls... all I ever get is the dog house around here...

I do get a few penaltys a year playing ice hockey... The most memorable one was last year when I fell on a female player... 2 minutes for roughing... All the guys on the bench were yelling "2 minutes for grooping" I had a sports bra on at the time and I just wanted to see what kind of bra she had on...

Love Karren

Have a game tonight at 10:30 pm.... were 1-0-0, new season, new team....

Hello Karren: I too, am 55 and "dressing" now more than ever. I've developed a femme style which is blend of hippie, preppie, and "nice girl." I'm comfortable with that and it looks good.
I'm not dressing 24x7, but at least several times a month and occasionally a few times in one week.
I'm having more fun now than I did when younger! (although I still have not figured out the dating/relationship thing-- oh, well...)
I've attended TG support group meetings and been to the IFGE conference (International Foundation for Gender Education) several times, but the most fun is when I'm out dressed and shopping or just interacting with tolerant/supportive people in a non TG only environment.
I dress as a cheerleader for peace marches, environmental protests, and other similar events. I spend a lot of effort to look as good as I can. Once I speak of course people know what the situation is . However, it is my goal to be taken seriously while dressed as the cheerleader (and when cross dressed generally).
This is starting to happen.
Peace-- Kendra Lynn (hippie cheerleader).

I started out when I was 8-9 years old wearing my sister's clothing. I found that not only did her dresses/skirts fit me but her high heels. Both of my sisters were in Rainbow Girls, which mean they had formals and high heels. It was a great time for me. Never got caught either. Later I when my sisters left home, I would wear my mother clothing. When I got out of the USAF and move into my own place, I started buying items from Sears and Wards catalogs. It wasn't until 2005 when I move here to Dallas that I finially went out dressed in the daylight. I have sense gone to HEF2006 and my first Tri-Ess meeting.

Kendra Lynn.....have fun with the cheerleader stuff.
