I started crossdressing when I was 19 years old and I dressed privately at first.It started with bras and panties and I loved wearing them knowing they were very comfortable.Then it was clothing,went in a women's clothing store and tried on a couple of dresses,some skirts and tops,I did buy them after trying them on.My mom and sister Hayley knew there was something going on with me and asked me one day.That is when I came out,told them I liked wearing women's clothing.My sister said I was a crossdresser,told me that she is fully supportive and we hugged.my mom was the same way knowing this was me.My father was not too happy at all and called me a sissy when he came to visit my mom.We do not talk or see each other anymore since I came out.My wife Alex was very easy to come out to and she is very understanding.I told her on our 3rd date when we started dating 5 years ago.She told me that she was very cool about it and became supportive.

as you can see, women are more supportive than men. Fathers want their sons to be very manly and tough infront of women. Sisters are more supportive than moms but allwill support you for your chioce.

One thing I've gleaned from all this...if you are going to tell your SO, tell her early in the relationship. The later you tell, the greater the risk that the relationship won't survive it.
