Showing through your bra

I don't know if it is just me being more aware as my own breasts as they develop and my nipples seem to be more pronounced or it is trend or it has always been there and I never noticed that much but lately I seem to see more women whose nipples are sticking out when thy wear tighter tops. I am not talking about teenagers or even younger women but rather mature women of all sizes. I always double check when going out for that and even make sure I wear a t-shirt bra under tighter tops. Is this the new trend or don't women care or do they not notice?

all chicks have different breasts and nipples and some only get erect nipples when they are cold or aroused and some have it alot of the time.
mine are always pronounced and erect alot of the time. if one doesn't wear a thick bra or top they stand out really bad. I don't mind cas i find erect nipples sexy on others so why would i mind it bloody to hot to see chicks nipples so that could be why some girls don't mind others are embarrassed by it.

I am not GG but as a pre-op with 36B to C breasts depending on the bra I feel I may be somewhat able to comment here. DanteCarrie is correct about size and shape of breasts being different from woman to woman and one bra that works well for one woman might not work for the other. I do know for a woman of almost 57 my nipples are more pronounced than most women my age so I am careful to wear bras that don't show through. I generally only buy bras with a lining or even molded cup bras, sometimes called t-shirt bras which never show through even when I am freezing! Bali has the concealer bras that work wellfor my sister yet for me, headlights!
I think you are maybe more aware of itright now Karen because all of this is new to you. Don't worry about it.

i think it would be a better look to wear no bra and a super tight white top in the rain you'd be much more appreciated by many for that

I hear what both of you are saying and yes DanteCarrie many me find that sexy but I think you are missing my point. What I am asking niis how do GG's see this. Do they see it as much as men do and do they check for it when getting dressed?

erm well i am genetically female but i guess I'm not your average GG i see more as men do you know sexy so why be worried about it. I have heard that some girls feel a bit of embarrassment about it and seek to wear thicker bras to avoid erect nipples being visible whereas others embrace it as much as inhancing cleavage and i think it can be a trend. I read something that said both cleavage and natural positioned breasts are sexy and it changes with trends and tastes ie sometimes women will emphasise big cleavage and othertimes might emphasise natural breast form by wearing no bra to let nipples show through tops.
so i think you will get a vairiety of answers if you go out asking GGs. so alot cover it up in embarrassment and other like it. *shrugs*

Ill second Dante, it's a preferance and comfort thing. I don't like it if I am showing too much. I tend to wear bras or shirts that are thick enough that that doesn't occur. I don't think about it too much, but I do get a little-self concious when I become aware of it. My mother on the other hand doesn't seem to care at all, and goes braless despite her larger size. I get embarrassed by seeing nips all out there, but she doesn't seem to give a damn. I think it's all your comfort. How much you want to reveal about yourself. What you think is sexy. Sometimes it might work with one outfit just a bit, like summer styles, and other times it might be very off.

I think it's a trend. My wife worries about it less than she did 30 years ago, even though she was younger and supposedly sexier then.

Not a trend - bad taste.

Well, I have a dilemma in that the thin bralettes I wear under sport shirts to work every day definitely allow my nipples to show through. Of course, before having breasts they showed through anyway. If I wear a molded cup bra capable of hiding my nipples, then my breasts project too much at work. As time goes on, it won't matter though. The bralettes will become too small to wear, and I'll be forced to wear the bra anyway.

Ro is aware of her breasts and nipples and so she asked for those little nipple covers for her birthday. I got her "petals" sold at Target. Ro picks and chooses when she will use them, but it's easy enough for me to know when she will.

Personally, I think it's tacky! To each her own though. I love padded bras-not for the "enhancement", mind you, but because they keep the girls covered up.

Personally speaking, not that I do this, if you are going to wear a bra, it is to enhance your breasts. The bra should be there to make the breasts look nice and not just be there hanging. Now everyone has nipples the boys and girls. When one is wearing a bra, I feel that nipples showing as to be seen through the clothes is tacky. Slow off your bust with what you wear, and be proud of it. I feel anyone who is wearing a bra should not be tasteless and have her nipples showing. I know I would be embarrassed if I was to have my nipples show when dressed en feminine. Just my thoughts...
Hugs,
Erica
