We in the Chicago area and beyond are shocked to learn that the Be All Conference that celebrated its 30th anniversary last year has been cancelled for 2013. This was a conference for all transgendered individuals that in years past has drawn upwards of 500. The last couple of years however that number has dropped and there have been finacial losses. There are no plans to continue the conference in the coming years. I have only attended the last two years and have some great memories from those two conferences, not to mention all the friends that I made there. I will miss not seeing them again.

This is indeed sad news as I have promised myself, and have posted on some LGBT friendly sites, that I was detminded to attend this year. This cancellation really has made my early 2013 feeling sad, but life to too short to get very upset about Be-All being cancelled.
