Second Life

Post by ChristineK »

Do any of you have a personality in SL?

It was the first place I found I could be a woman and pass and feel so comfortable and free to roam.

My wife saw my avatar and said nothing of it, she logged in briefly as a man avatar and we ventured until she became board.

I do not roam SL like I used to but it was the place I could be Christine and be accepted so freely. I met many people just like us in SL that expressed the same feeling we share here in this forum.

I have made some good friends in the virtual world.

If ever in SL I am Slitly Offcourse (Fits Huh)

Hi, Christine -

Several of our members are at Second Life, and here is an older thread on this topic:

Off Topics - Second Life ?? - http://crossdressers-haven.com/forums/v ... php?t=8779

I thought there was at least one other thread discussing the "Second Life" game, but I have not been able to find it.

Thanks!

The classification of SL has yet to make an distinction due to its not a game in the sense that you cannot win anything. There is no pre programed goal, and you don't rank up points. Its Just an alter ego that we Not So Genetic girls can feel at home and not face ridicule at first site.

Its a place that you can be you but still hide the professional real you that you are forced to be by nature!

Hi all,

Christine,

Here's another forum thread on Second Life: Virtually Girls

I haven't been on SL for a couple of months now (what with the move and all, my PC is still in boxes) but I plan to go back soon. I have over 5000 items in my inventory--lots and lots of shoes and pretty clothes and jewelry and, yes, I've met some interesting folks there, too. I'm a total dance-aholic (and was even hired in a couple of clubs to dance and play hostess). I even bought this book to help me get more out of my SL experience. I've started creating stuff for myself... just jewelry right now but I plan to try my hand at designing clothing for myself. Why pay L$399 for high-heeled thigh-high vinyl boots when you can make your own in under half an hour?

Have fun, Christine! (Oh, and, if I ever manage to find my way back there, you can look me up... my SL name is Christina Visconti.)

Love,
CJ

I also am a builder or modeler as you may see it and I have modeled shoes, buildings & Boats.

I too have an extremely vast inventory that I either built or have open to trade. If some one needs a business in a box I have It trust me!

The fun part is if you are in a sand box in your girl persona and building something the guys pile up to see whats going on!

Ugh! :? I hate sandboxes, Christine. Too crowded. Although I'll go to sandboxes just to see what people are up to, I much prefer to find a nook or cranny on land that permits rezzing. More private.

SL can be so addictive, eh? :P A few of my friends or colleagues (who know diddly-squat about Second Life) have told me that I need to Get a First Life.

Love,
CJ

I have not been out right told that but if you have a conversation with some people you do get the undertone of the conversation (get a life) so I quietly exit stage left. I would really blow there mind if I told them I had one and her name was Christine
