Billy Elliot

We went to the play/musical Billy Elliot recently -- and I highly recommend it!! For those not familiar, its the story of a young boy growing up in an English mining community (during the mid 80's strike) who discovers that he loves dancing and is very good at it. (He eventually auditions for the Royal Ballet school) This of course doesn't set well with his family. There is a several scenes that will particularly resonate with those on this forum and all in all, it was an excellent production -- if you get the chance to go---go!
