Shopping on my day off

Post by Andrea F. »

Had a real wonderful shopping experience on Monday Feb. 9th. I met up with Stacy who helped me to feel good about my shopping for my girl needs. We agreed to meet at Torrid and it was such a great feeling to know others like us shop there. The sales lady, Brittany was very supportive. We then cruised the clearance racks for dresses but none was rubbing me the right way since they were all dark and still have the winter colors still on the racks. Stacy said the prices were a bit on the high side and suggested we check out Ross, dress for less. On our way to Ross, we stopped in Ulta so Stacy could give me some great cosmetic tips for when I apply my makeup. We spent about 15 minutes there. We then stopped in Lane Bryant and looked at some nice blouses and skirts. I did try on a few blouses in the changing room. It was my second time trying on clothes. It felt really wonderful. I would up buying this black lace overlay knee length full sweep skirt. We also felt the Cacique panties and said wow, these are so nice and very feminine. The sign was 5 pairs for $35.00. I might go back sometime and pick up 5 pairs of them. They felt so darn soft and silky. They did come in lots of feminine colors which I really like. After that we went over to DSW and I was looking for a pair of heels. After looking for a while I found these size 9 1/2 beige 3 inch heels. The price of them was $39.94 and I got them for $11.78. What a deal on my first pair of shoes. Yes. We then checked out Ross for dresses, however they didn't have much in my size which is a size 18-20. We spent maybe 5 minutes there. After all that shopping we went to Moe's Southwest grill and had lunch. Since Stacy was so helpful, I picked up her lunch. We sat and had lots of girl talk. I really had a great day with my shopping. Felt so femme while shopping. I felt an overwhelming desire to want to shop again and will do so again on Friday.

That is a nice account of the day, Andrea. Shopping is a lot more fun when taking care of girl-side clothing and makeup needs.
