Ah! Spring

Post by Virginia »

NIce day, yesterday! Went shopping at Goodwill. Needed new mini's. Could not find any so bought two very nice ankle length black skirts, brought them home and made mini's out of them. Then decided to take a drive. Deborah usually is blonde but decided to go as a brunette. Both my neighbors were out working in their yards and both waved. They have seen Deborah (as a blonde) my wife has red hair so the brunette kind of caught their atttention wondering who this woman was driving (my) Expedition. Anyway wore my mini, 4" heels, frilly, see-through blouse and went on the BlueRidge Parkway. Stopped at several overlooks, beautiful views and the breeze blowing against my legs and body, - I love spring!
Several passing motorist waved, but as we have said," decretion is the better part of valor", so a single girl in a mini on the parkway alone could, well, I did not walk far from my truck! I got home and the mailman had delivered the two new wigs I had ordered, they. They were on sale and one was so so, but the other WOW! It is brunette, but soooooo sophiscitated! Will become my second favorite, can't wait to wear it out - hopefully today!
Hope all you girls have a great day!
Love,
Deborah

Ah Spring.

Well it's autumn here, I think it's referred to as 'fall' in other parts of the world. Even with winter so close we're still in drought and on water restrictions, I think it's forgotten how to rain here.

I was just thinking that even with a 10,000 mile distance, a 6 month seasonal difference and around 14 hour time difference how wonderful it is to be able to interact with people from all round the world and the common bond which binds us all together. It's 11am on Friday morning here atm, looking out my window the sun is shining brightly, the birds are singing, gee it's great to be alive and be who I am, I wouldn't want it to be any different, well, not much anyway. lol...

Kind Regards to all.

Sally.
Watch nature, because it’s our greatest teacher, it moves and flows and moves on again. We can never be free until we disengage, so allow life to flow as you find it. The way it is, is the way it is.

You know Sally, you kinda hit on something there! I correspond with you gals here on the forum all the time, and usually feel as though you're right next door. I really do forget that miles and oceans really do separate us.
It's the kind of social acceptance I wish the whole world had.

BTW - Here in Louisiana, (da bayou country) there are two seasons. Hot/Wet a.k.a. Summer and Cold/Wet a.k.a. Winter. Not much between 'em.

Hugs,
Kyra

LOL! Kyra. :)
(--)
I had a friend for LA who kind of shared the same thing with me. :) He told me that's the way the seasons were. You put it in a much more humorous light. :)

Yes, Kyra, I agree that it would be terrific if the rest of the world would follow the lead of the crossdressers in this forum, both in open-mindedness and acceptance of others and in attire. I would love to see United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan speaking to the assembled diplomats while wearing a short v-neck bra-top dress. Now that would be true statesmanship!

Regarding the weather, here in North Georgia we typically have a long mild spring and a long mild fall. In between, there ordinarily are about two months of cold (i.e., temperatures averaging around 35° F or 2° C), rainy weather, and about two months of hot, humid weather in the summer. As I write this, it is sunny and 82° F (28° C), which is a few degrees above average for this time of year, but it is pleasant due to the low humidity. Of course, there is day-to-day variation — tomorrow’s forecast is for cooler weather with a chance of thundershowers!
Take care,

Idaho Weather

Post by Aislin »

Weather from around the world.

Made me laugh to see the joy being spread. You are next door or even in my own backyard. here we are gossipin over the fence.

SW Idaho has 2 seasons Construction and Winter. Sometimes the gods conspire to make winter seem like construction. winter is the time for snowsuits in fab colors, and comfort undeneath. Best way to go out dressed cause nobody knows or cares. They just find it strange that you love the winter so much!
