Waxing! Yeah Fun!!!!!

Post by Cami »

OK this might be in the wrong section but some might find humor in it. Just waxed my chest for the first time. Ummmm OWWWWWW! lol "There will be a slight discomfort". Getting Tattooed hurt less but this isn't hurting as long. But it's ohhhh so smooth!!! Anyone else taken this aproach. I might do my eyebrows soon also.

Hi Cami,

Ouch!! ..OO.. Yes, I have tried it. A razor sure doesn't last as long but it sure feels better!

Have any of you tried a product called Magic?? We have started using it here and it is very good. It is sold in the mens shaving section, to be used by african american for their face. it is similar to a nair type product but without the side affects. No stinging, burning, leaves skin very soft and smooth. For my legs it lasted about 2 weeks before I needed to use again. DH was a bit faster since his hair grows faster. We have both used it 'everywhere' and found it worked very well, even in sensitive areas.
Anyway I found it at Walmart comes in a powder you mix with water-a big mess or a tube of cream, our choice, and very inexpensive $2.50 or so.

Hi Honey (SO),

I so like answering your posts since that was my favorite nickname for my wife. It brings back some very pleasant memories. :) :)

Thanks for the tip about "Magic". I'll have to look for it on the next trip to Wally World.

Josey, glad to put a smile into your day, Honey is my husbands fav name for me too! Sometimes I call him that also, it works for both of us.

Someone told me that they could only find the Magic at superwallmarts, have also seen it at Walgreens.
For some reason it always seems to be at the very bottom shelf???

I am off to use some now, take care

Waxing...

Post by Brianna »

I saw this topic and thought I would add my two cents worth. I've had a couple waxing experiences. Some by professionals and some of the Do -It-Yourself experiences.

I have also been considering having my legs waxed sometime soon before my vacation to Sint Maarten.

My first experience was having my eyebrows waxed. When I was younger I had that unibrow thing going on. I hated it. Years of systematic plucking has rid me of most of the unwanted hair. Waxing was really only to define the eyebrow and see what waxing was all about.

My second experience, (take a deep breath here,) was a brazilian. I was getting ready to go to Sint Maaarten last year and I thought I might end up on one of the Clothing Optional beaches. Having the shaved look is very popular in the naturist community. (I absolutely loved Sint Maarten and the clothing optional beaches.)

I purchased a Gigi Brazilian kit that you can use at home. It was better and worse in one way or another. Imagine yanking off a bandaid... that's how waxing feels but maybe a bit worse. When I had the brazilian done professionally I didn't have to do it myself but it did result in bruising. Usually the professionals use the cloth strips for the process. The home version was a little messy and not that easy to do yourself but I stuck with it. The hard wax in the kit doesn't require the strips. It is less painful and didn't result in bruising as much. It did hurt though.

I'm planning on either having it done again this year or doing it myself before the big trip.

Later,

Brianna

Sorry forgot I posted this till now lol. I bought my Wife a hot wax machine a few months back. I had her do it. I told her it was her chance at payback for anything I had done :) . It did leave some red marks like acne. but I must admit it looks great! My Wife Loves it! that was a pleasent suprise. She thinks it makes me look sexier in boy mode too! How is that for cool!
