A nice evening!

Post by Virginia »

My wife went out with her girl firend and her girl friend's boyfriend so I invited my pre-op TG friend over for supper. I fixed spagetti and salad and we just sat and talked - it was marvelous. She has several crossses to bear and I am trying to help her with those that I can. We had a good time, just wanted to share that.
Love you all,
Virginia

Nice to see that you have friends in the area you can be honest with. Something I miss. Gee.

Hi Virginia--
A nice and simple evening with a friend--no clubs or fancy restaurants. I'm sure your friend appreciated the attention, and I'm glad you had fun together.

But what did you wear?

It sounds like a pleasant evening. It is always nice to just sit and talk and sometimes relaxed conversation is one of the most exciting things one can do. Many is the time when something like that stays with me for days afterwords

Just curious. Is your wife friends with your friend also? Friendships are one of the things I really enjoy sharing with my wife. Every once in a while we have a bit of a tendency to turn our friends stuff into a project for us to help with but that is another story.

Andrea,
Thanks for asking and I know that you were not here when I posted that I had invited my friend to our house for Christmas dinner, since the court had ordered that she allow her son to spend Christmas with his mother, so she was alone. My in-laws (my father in law a retired minister) and the rest of the family reaction even shocked me. You would have thught that I had asked a serial murderer to come to dinner! Not to much shocks me anymore but their reaction was actually unbelieveable. I even considered throwing the entire family out of my house! I didn't but these "christens" proporterly just further confirmed my feelings that the entire "religious family" are the biggest hypocrits that I have ever had the mis-pleasure of knowing.
No my wife is not aware and since we are in the throws of a divorce I really don't care!!!!!!

Hi Virginia,

That was very nice of you to invite her into your home and treat her as a friend. Lots of TS's out there receive such negativity from people who don't understand them. I think it was simply wonderful that you opened your home up to her and that you also got a little therapy yourself by being you.

You are a superstar! :) :) :)

Andrea,
No apologize is necessary, honey! I am just glad that you and my other sisters here take an interest in each others lives. That is the beauty of this forum -- the support, empathy, love is what keeps us together.
