Virginia, meet Officer Foster!

Post by Virginia »

Got to tell this on myself. We have a big fair here each year and they have a great fireworks display almost every night. Several years ago I found that I could park in the local hospital parking lot and see the display as good as being right there and all from the comfort of your car. Well Sunday night Virginia got dressed, blonde hair, thin (see though) orange blouse with a black bra (not slutty, but sexy) and chiffon white slacks and heels ( I had not intention of getting out of the car) just watch the fire works, take the long way home and go to bed. As I pulled out from a stop sigh and turned toward the main highway, the Jag hesitated (has not been driven in a while and was cold) so I punched it - ever so slightly, as there was a car coming up behind me rather fast. I stopped at the main highway for the red light, when it turned green, signal on, I pulled out across the highway and you would have thought I had been drag racing, GOD! Red and Blue lights, siren, flashing head lights, like some kind of alien space craft was behind me. I pulled over on the side of this four lane as far as I could. Got out my "en drab" license and registration and just sat there in all my radiant glory, "Excuse me mame! may I see your license and registration?" I turned to look into an overly bright flashlight and what appeared to be a 16 year old kid in a police uniform! He shined the light on the license then on me and back on the license and I could just see the wheels turning, "why is this blonde in a Jag giving me some guy's license" I know his hand had to be reaching for his gun!!! I smiled my sexiest smile and just said, "Don't even ask!!!!!!" He did, only what I can describe as a "triple take." and I had to bite my tongue to keep from saying, "wanta frisk me!, big boy!" He walked back to his cruiser and wrote up the ticket, came back, ask me where I was going and I told him to see the fireworks display from the hospital parking lot, he said it was a good location, and that I had best slow down as he stopped me because I was doing 32 in a 25 zone! I took the ticket and said "Have a nice evening officer!" and drove off.
The amazing thing is that I would bet my blood pressure never went up I was not the least bit "scared" or even concerned about the situation! It was simply that Virginia was going to see some fireworks and a cop stopped her for speeding! I hate to say it, but sometimes I amaze myself!
Keep the faith girls, it ain't as bad as we may think!
Love,
Virginia
PS: any donations to help pay the fine would be greatly appreciated

Hi Virginia--
Thanks for writing that post. I was laughing as I read along; you paint a vivid picture. At least he didn't put you through a field sobriety test, as I imagine you might not have wanted to balance on one foot in those heels.

And as the California Highway patrol officer said to me, Anita: "You're fine on the test. I don't know why he (the other car who left) stopped you."
Why, for driving with a wig and a dress, is what I needed to say, but didn't.
But my patrolman "read" me--I don't think yours did.

You had a good cop stop you He must of had diversity training, or atleast was aware of CD's. I had s top several yrs ago and the cop was very nice about it, What I found ironic was that I went straight where I should have gone left. The cop did give me a ticket and I tried to invite him to our support group in San Diego...Sallee
