The reason is becuase in they wanted to make sure people new it was based on the show and not some thing else with the same name, I guess. Hey it makes sense to me. Jadhe not to be rude but I happen to be a crossdresser who is so happy being male that I do not try to pass as female. I just like the feel of womans clothes. That is way I also do not have a Fem name. Gaven happens to be a tradtional gaelic male name.Though most of the time it is spelled gavin I perfer it spelled with the en. If you read some of my other posts you would notice that I have a goatee. Also if you look here. http://www.merelfox.com/Halloween2k3%20026.jpg

I didn't mean to step on anyones toes here. I had no idea that woman was from a movie. My silly comment was suppose to be funny.
And everyone can look how they want, and be what they want to be. While I have my own taste when it comes to looks, so do the rest of you. And that is great! Never in my life have I judged people based on their looks. Who am I to decide what is the 'right' look for everyone?
My dear Gaven, I am happy that you enjoy being male, there's nothing wrong with that. People just often misunderstand me. (I blame my dogdy english for that
)
We each have our own goals in this life, and one of mine is to be passable, if only once in my life.
Like one of my friends described me one, I am sweet, but often misunderstood.
So, love and peace, people!

Or, is that "misunderstood, but often sweet"? Just kidding, Jadhe.
Both you and Gaven are right about tastes and goals. I sort of hover between the two of you. I like to "slide around the gender rainbow," as I call it. When in boy mode, I usually keep at least a goatee, but often a beard too. When becoming a woman, I shave it all off. The resulting change is quite dramatic (too dramatic according to some!). I've been thinking about posting a boy mode pic in my gallery so that you can see the difference for yourselves. But I'm shy.
Love,
CJ

Well I didnt understand that much myself. I dont get how the woman from Star Trek: The Movie, was it, to Gaven's reply. Can someone explain that one to me??
Anyway I'd also like to know if that is you in the avatar, CJ??
I think that it would be great if you posted some of the "boy mode" pics.

Hi all,
The bald woman in the picture is actress Persis Khambatta; she did indeed play a role in Star Trek: The Movie. She died of a heart attack in 1999.
And, yes, that is li'l ol' me in the avatar. It's part of my "CJ in White" album in the photo gallery. Thanks for the compliment, Jadhe. It just goes to show what good makeup, good corsets, and good wigs can do, I guess...
I may post a boy mode pic, after all.
Love,
CJ

Hi Jadhe,
I promise I'll post more girly pix whenever I get the chance (and whenever I can lay my hands on a decent digital camera that won't bust my budget).
I have a paid week off every three months or so; next time might not be for another long while because I've used up some of that time to recuperate from a recent surgery. When I do get that week off, I'll try to get as many shoots in as I can. In fact, I'll look forward to it.
Love,
CJ

Jadhe, sorry if I came off as overly gruff. I had to learn to defend my stance on things to get them heard. I am also one of those people who sadly like to debate. The funny part about that is most people do not argue with my mother they just tend to agree and either do it her way or do it there way. I on the other hand will argue with her for the fun of it because I know it gets to her.

Debates aren't for me.
If people really start to rave about something, I much rather just smile and then ignore them, as debates often end up in silly arguments.
I'm a peace loving girl, I am.
Love and peace, everyone! *dances around*
